I`m in LOVE with Shai but wonder if its too weak grinder? I dont care about pvp want good class for pve + skills that are easy to learn

In the current game Shai is an incredible grinder. Mobility is only really an issue if you forget that Yippee exists or don't know how to cancel animation locks. There's plenty of guides for animation lock cancelling out there so if you're not familiar with it then look it up. I have Yippee hotkeyed and use it constantly, mostly because it's just plain fun, but also because it's incredibly good for mobility. For skilled Shai players there's no reason you can't be topping the grind charts silver wise.

@@AWanderingTressym I wasnt aware of those how to cancel the animation locks :O thats the reason why at times shai felt a bit slow even tho I love the class. I also havent been able to play the game that much so sometimes I play a lot and then get too busy irl that forget the game for week or 2 x) but in that case will give shai another chance! before tried other classes but became very attached to this adorable fella c: thanks for the help! will take a look at the guides! ^^

@@pastelmoon9118 Yeah, you can rapid fire your songs in and have 4-5 song buffs up in about 0.1 seconds, you can cancel the boomerang return animation on "Eat This!", etc.

No I was talking about exclusive content. Everyone in the game can ride a donkey. Only a shai can ride the Alpaca like a chad

Disclaimer: Shai is a special class on its own category that isn't supposed to be a powerhouse. It's current viability, and to some extent, overpowered state in PvP/PvE seems to be accidental and may or may not conduct to a nerf whenever PA feels like it. (In fact, it needs a nerf) But more importantly, hoping to advocate for Shai PvP or other critical mechanic changes oriented toward 1v1 or a "streamlined PvE / PvP experience" for instance is a categorical no from Pearl Abyss own statement. A Shai player should look at what Shai offers right now and enjoy it for what it is; not what it might become, could have or should have been.
