You're basically playing BDO 2.0 compared to the last time you were playing the game. I love the fact that you're trying to figure stuff out on your own as much as possible, shows genuine interest in the game imo. It's also fun hearing you reminisce about the early days of bdo. As someone who wasn't there for the golden ages, it's kinda weird hearing some of that. But it feels nostalgic nonetheless!

I've watched through your entire set of recent bdo videos and love your perspective on the game, I'm only 606 gear score and I've been enhancing my gear myself instead of buying, and started with agerian armour rather than doing a seasonal, progression has been slow but I've had a lot of fun along the way, i actually got my first pvp kill a few days ago contesting hystria... then immediately got destroyed by 2 strikers 5 mins later 😂

Ctrl + F, and you can search any item on any character and place you have items.. You might find more crons, artisans, or other stuff you trying to find

They've also changed the maehwa and musa dash to use stamina instead of wp amd I think other classes also the same, so yeah, it got heavily nerfed.

Since no one has updated you on the game so far about PvP yet, here i go 1. Kakao Sold publishing rights back to PA and 'J' is the executive producer or the go to guy for any BDO related right now 2. When land of morning light 1 was released, due to Lost Ark slum at the time many lost ark creators moved to BDO. BDO players being the chads they are some harassed them to the ground till they did that to some Korean streamers. 3. J essentially decided open world pvp and harassment was uber bad and essentially killed it with mutual war declarations and heavier karma penalties. Even greifing with cannons, feeds to mobs will give far greater karma loss up to 10 mil now and karma gain from mobs was nerfed. RIP DFS and open world 4. NW was reworked to " remove politics" and snipe. The new NW system they proposed made it like a kind of "king of the hill" system where there will be a fort and multiple guilds fought for it until time runs out and the guild that got the last hit got the node. Hence all the protest you have seen. Killed off many guilds. Now they reverted back to both options, the guild who occupies the uncapped castle in siege selects which type " New or Old" system. But T1 is still the new nw's. 5. They are promising a lot of changes forward, which the community is taking it with a grain of salt like hardcore PVP server (supposed to be released in January) etc yeah, all the drama revolves around this in BDO where PVP community asks for meaningful progression and good PVP and the rest defending PA for their actions against the " toxic" PvP'r XD TLDR the korean streamers who caused all this from lost ark have left the game without sticking around. RIP PA. Sorry for my bad english, Not my first language XD

Thank you! Still find it very confusing why they did this, it was the core gameplay before. I mean it's natural that a game evolves, but going from a PvP game to only PvE is very weird to me. I still enjoy the game tho xD

@arajnin to be honest, I think personally it's korean pride. They hoped to retain some of the new lost ark players with all these wholesale changes while ignoring their core playerbase. They not only didn't retain them but lost more by making the changes, by then they where too deep into the rabbit hole and couldn't revert back without admitting "we fkd up". Now it has gotten to the point, that J was sidelined for the recent calpheon ball and actual dev made appreances instead. Atleast they admitted this time that pvp was their core player model and would be looking to expand on it. How or what is to be seen. Hopefully they keep their promises. However, if you are looking for pvp now, I would say AOS ( arena of solaire) gear equalised pvp, guild league which is uncapped and think some guilds still do nws and seige. The noices you will hear most will be from the end game playerbase but its 100% warranted in terms of progression. Till you reach that point yourself the game is still fun as hell

Sorry to break it to you, but telling someone to kys karma bomber etc because they are already grinding at a spot you wanted to grind at is 'toxic' as you say, and tellin ppl to kys or unsinstallt he game people for 'being bad' because they cant damage you in your fallen god armor with their duo liverto is also pretty bad. That was the PvP community in BDO for many years and only really got better when they released marni realm.
