Amazing video man. Just went into CBT2 with my $50 pre-order, and I gotta say, I didn't understand the video at first without playing, but I got to play for maybe an hour, and everything you now said makes way more sense. I'm glad you made such a great video and covered so many skills with such a good amount of detail. I wish I knew a build to go for, but I just found a good one I think on BDFoundry, I'll have to consult both and compare usability for the high evasive focused build I want.

Great guide but would be very helpful to do a follow up guide on how to allocate skill points and which skills to prioritize. For me the skill tree was a bit over whelming not knowing all the combos that work well so I didn't know where to prioritize while leveling. Just a suggestion if you are looking for more content ideas.

Rangers seem to be extremely effective on horseback, grab a mount while leveling, it costs a bit more in terms of horse maintenance, but i own all the farming spots i get to, no problems so far at lvl 30.

How do you cancel Exploit Weakness (Pinpoint Strike) to regain mana? I havent really figured out how to use it to get back mana. I use Q cancel on large groups to get back mana is that what you meant?

I just leveled ranger from 1-50 just riding my horse around and shooting things... took me around 6 hours, I would say its the fastest leveling class.

Actually wind charge at max rank can hit an entire group of enemies it's not to good at the start but later on is a ton better also when you first get it you can still hit multiple enemies as I was doing that with it when I was in the first section.

+Judaee Rangers miss a lot so accuracy is fundamental to them. Accuracy makes grinding purple/red mobs way easier to grind cause you won't miss as much

+Dynasty Extreme evasive shot inst actually an AoE skill, the other replier was incorrect. Extreme Evasion Skill however is ranger's core skill, it allows them to do the animation cancelling for extremely high mobility and I would advise looking at least the basics of it for how it works. It allows a ranger to cancel a significant portion of his skills and dodge to the side at the same time. A typical combo used with it is the kick cancel or the Q cancel, displayed by Hakurai in this video at about 4:51. The AoE skill that greatly helps with grinding is possibly evasive explosive shot, covered in this video at 6:07. While he does fail to mention the actual level, it is 20 which isn't actually too bad to get to.

Ranger seems boring and vulnerable to me, but that's just my biased opinion. Valkyrie is great for farming, Witch is a little more involved but great with dealing quick damage. I'm sure both of these classes could farm money easily however Valkyrie seems more easy and quick to farm money with. my three mains will be Witch, Valkyrie, and Sorceress.

YourAverageHobo I had a sorc as starting class too, but I kinda regret that. It's very unforgiving mana wise, and it's easier to learn things on an alt first. One wrong mistake on sorc and you messed up for the rest of your playtime. Tamer is complicated, and once you master the class it's still kinda weak.

YourAverageHobo With sorc you are going to end up god like good, or AWFULL. I recommend it as an second alt. If you are around 35 with main you should try sorc, but I recommend ranger since the class is very forgiving, and the best class in the game.

+Highwalker later in the game u will get an ability which requires ur black spirit gauge to reach 100%, once that gauge is at 100% u start to get surrounded with black smoke which means u can finally use the skill to deal a ton of damage.. the skill varies with each class and is usually pretty badass

Sent you a mail for better formatting and such. Please read it :) There are a couple things I feel like you missed. Spamming Evasive Exploding Shot is not the most effective. You want "Extreme: Wind Control" to do A/D + LMB + Space combo for high damage. You also want to hold A/D + LMB and spam Will of Wind placed on your hotbar for very effective explosive shot spam. Combine all of this with "MP Recovery" crystals in weapon along with MP Absorb/Recovery on "Evasive: Exploding Shot" you will regenerate MP like crazy. I will link a video to demonstrate: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZ7PpIGHoKqamZI This is something every Ranger really needs to know, as it is the most effective way to farm as a Ranger! The gear I recommend: Weapon: Yuria, Rosa, Liverto, Zaka (best: left to right) Secondary: Yuria + Bronze Dagger, Other 3 + Steel Dagger or Press Vere (I think that is what it is called) Armor: 3p Hebe + Zareth boots, or Neil Trees. (Possibly more viable options)

+Joseph Olk each class is technically gender locked but some classes have opposite gender equivalents. witch and wizard exactly the same. kunoichi/ninja and blader/plum are very similar to each other respectively but have small differences. check out the rest of haku's guides to see the differences.
