But I don't play the RNG Upgrade System either nor do I care much about PvP. I was always interested in proper Lifeskilling in MMOs and your channel definitely helped in BDO so far.

Decent gear so I can grind at some of the endgame spots like Elvia, Thornwood, Turos, etc. casually whenever I feel like it and good lifeskilling gear for the times where I want to be more chill and relax. I myself did not grind any monster at all, all I do now is bartering. But I didn't sell all my combat gear, from bartering alone I managed to get all my lifeskill gears.. Really enjoy your video and can't thank you enough for recommending this game..

8:00 I learnt more than you think friend. VP also makes small pay2win for bartering. You can roll 3x barter list everyday instead of 2x without the VP. It means you basically lose more than 120kk per day (depends on your barter count progression) if you play entire day of course. Good vid. Thank you.

To be honest, I'm very tempted to do the same as you. Atm I'm something of a mix but I'm not really efficient on any, so picking life skill, IMO, pays more, and satisfaction is somehow guaranteed. Lifeskills simply keep connection with the game much better from what I like most of the time I spend in. Peace ✌

You really have to do a guide on imperial, like making boxes, valencia meals and all that. I know you have some, but like a full guide, gathering materials , what you choose to do and all that stuff from begginer level to master and above.

I am not in the top 25% or whatever, but I am doing more life skills, I found all your videos are informative. I am seeing my characters level "peaking" at 35 something... I only have 3 characters so far. Level progression has slowed, but I am not into level grinding. As a new player since the beginning of March this year, I was combat and tutorial. I keep finding new mini games doing life skill. I just found the wheelbarrow mini game while gathering some potatoes for a quest. Over in Glish, I slaughter a mess of triangle head lizard for making my saddles. I have one character up in Velia that buys the cheap fluid extractor, then over to the west is foxes. I have no idea what you guys are doing with the fox blood, but I sell it and make millions of silver. To be honest it was about 500K per 100 because I allowed my value pack to lapse. I was making about 900K before with the value pack. I purchased some permanent dyes to replace the ones I was using with Merv's Palette. My gear is all 80 ~ 80 to 100 ~ 100, I have a mess of items in my storage, and 1.7 billion silver in my warehouse. I have 3 maids all named Irene??? I have several pets and it looks like I get a free puppy (naughty dog) next week. So I am having tons of fun with Black Desert. Keep making videos, even if you think they are about nothing, they mean something to someone.

After playing this game for 2yrs. my final thought on this game? it's design and developed by those "GOLD FARMER" in those OG mmo's that we saw spamming the channel try to sell in-game currency, in this game we do a lot of farm farm farm from mobs, mats, market. If my goal is to make money, I can go on farming without fighting hordes of mobs, more than 50% of the content are relate to life style. There were a time period that I wonder why I even brother to go through the pain of enhance battle gears when there is no raid, no dungeons and I don't PVP, there is no hurry to gear up. I end up BUYING most my Pen gears (move up in tiers, buy new/sell old), it saved me from the depressed chance of 10%+- enhance rate.

I did the same thing a few months back but for different reasons. I ended up getting full tri manos accessories and a bunch of TET manos chest pieces and life tools. After a while I started to get my combat gear back and am actually more geared than I was when I sold it. 277ap and 333dp with Kutum. So, I can either grind or lifeskill and make a good amount of profit it either way. I didn’t avoid the rng though, I just didn’t care if it went, since life skilling was how I was making my money. At this point I haven’t logged in for 3 weeks and debating if I should just retire from the game, I enjoyed my time and this is the longest time in an mmo I have played.

Amazing timing, been here for 6yrs now (w/beta) and Im just kind of exhausted by it now. I totally get your thinking, I've ALWAYS, ALWAYS agreed w/the RNG gear system is complete cancer, I mean, stage fucking 4 cancer so no argument there. My guild is pretty young, and really into end-game, gear grinding for like 12hrs and whatnot. All good, go them, but Ive nvr cared about my gear, about where I grind ect like you mention (my spots are diff but I get ur point). As other mention, I DO actually still think this game is amazing for what it provides and I wish it nothing but the best, but like many things, kind of what you're 'suggesting' everyone needs a break or a different game, which is basically what you're saying.

I only go for grinding when Aegris meter is full and IF I have loot scrolls. I see it like having full energy on a lifeskill alt and not using it so ,,,, it is a good waty to do something different. Well the reason is reasonable. You can still have the Oasis or the Narchillan hear as well as you need it to grind some money or items. So it's not that wrong. But in my opinion, i passed 3, months without any gear doing lifeskilling at 360° and... When i get 8.6b i get bored. I wanted to do another character and complete the story quest yo Star's End and O'dillyta. So i needed higher gear, and that's why I spend all my money to get another gear.

I was thinking like you as I have switched to Bartering and butchering/Cooking mode ... But, i decided to keep my combat gear for only one purpose.... When my Aegris is full, i go to a nice place just to fill my inventory with trash loot in a nice place like Manshaums or Ronaros (regarding my AP) As soon as I deplete it, I go back to Lifeskilling. I just tapped a TET Laytenn by pure RNG carryness... And now I also want to sell and gather deer blood for the rest of my life... I don't enjoy grinding mobs anymore for silver, especially now that I've reach the point where I need to grind Sycria or Hystria to be efficient... And those are high brain power areas at my overall skill level Deer blood though... I can watch netflix and litteraly chill for an hour, do some cooking on the side, etc. It's the peak BDO experience

I swapped to Shai and I invested a good 4bill in life skill gear/tools/acc to do gathering and i am focusing on lumbering but i know that just selling the various tree logs is not the most profitable like for example meat or blood selling, couild you make a guide on how to combine gathering materials with crafting for max profit? Does it help me, not really right now BUT that's an alternate way i could go do my stuff. I think i will not play BDO that activly at all times in the future (except the daily logins) since finly getting over lvl 56 and entering the grinding spots outside of the olvia server was "kinda not a good experience". Thank god BDO for the oasis gear but damn Pearl Abbys for not making a strict NO PVP server.

you can go to Sycraia @ 269 kutum and 329 DP and make 130M an hour after tax. There is barely anyone there even on Arsha server, and can make 250+M an hour with a ring/red shard drop

i have actually been doing the same , the only part with the cooking and imperial boxes is that it´s hard to deliver all those guru boxes spots are gone after 3 mins when imperial resets and then prof boxes for all those pickled veggies profit. For Artisan or master boxes the profit is still there but the mats for them are a bit tedious to get....

Don't hand in crates on the main daily reset (the one that resets your daily turn-in limit). I hand them in as soon as it resets during some other part of the day and I've never had trouble with them being gone.

I honestly think the progression path for lifeskilling is worse than grinding progression. my progression from 1250 mastery to 1300 mastery by gear didnt feel as rewarding as grinding a new spot with +2 AP. Also you need to gather a shit ton of herbs to level up since meat/trees dont give as much EXP even though I dont want to gather herbs...

you don't need to gather herbs to level up gathering if you don't want to, if it feels frustrating spending hours gathering and not having any decent income generated to show for it then don't do it, otherwise you'll just end up burning your self out and maybe even just giving up altogether.

Most people make shais and just have those to milk cows and have 1 main/alt that has all the gear for gathering . Farming doesnt really need much apart from artisan 1.
