Feels like we’re witnessing the progression of sport climbing! The complexity of the rope management, the crack glove, the technical knee bars, the brutality of the boulder problem and finish. The vision of the line. And you know it’s desperate when Seb has the 1st bolt clipped! He is very pure about this and usually never does, but it would be a bad fall on this thing w/out it. Seb - your class is shining bright! Inspiring stuff.

The American mind cannot comprehend doing that much gear switching on a sport route. I was totally confused for a full minute. The two ropes are the same color and I was SWEATING until I figured that out.

it's actually the same rope. He pull the rope down to the belayer so she can reattach her belay device without the first part of the climb rope drag. You can see she was pulling the rope from the first part of the route and you also can see at 10:48 that the rope goes back up to the first part of the route

Le but est clairement d’assoir une stature de grimpeur international et ça passe "forcément" par le fait de s'exprimer en anglais avec des cotations us. Tant pis si la capacité à parler en anglais appauvrit complétement le propos, de toute façon tous les propos de l'élite tendent vers le même modèle. Grimper dur, gueuler fort, faire vendre du matos, on ne demande pas grand chose de plus aux grimpeurs vedettes.
