Black Diamond Spot R Headlamp Overview/Review

My thoughts on the Black Diamond Spot R 400 lumen headlamp. Also reasons why I chose it over the Storm R 500 lumen Headlamp.

Good review, just taught me about the powertap button.... it is sensitive, thought mine was broken!🙃 Great for my needs, camping, fishing etc. great lighting options, easy to wear with a cap, beanie or naked.

Great review! Is it possible to power on to red light in the BD Spot-R without cycling through white light? I know it remembers last mode during power on but can you go directly to red light? On the Storm-R it can be done by holding mode button from powered off state

Hi. Thanks for watching. Yes. You can power on directly to the red light from being off regardless of the mode it was in by holding the mode button down for about 5 seconds.

Is it strange that one buckle on the strap faces inward and the other outward?

A little strange I guess, but it is easy to adjust and is comfortable. Thanks for watching.
