Step into the world of Black Dragon, a family of strangers woven together with threads of tragedy, determination, and a burning desire for justice.
It all started in the heart of Japan, where Kenzo Wattson arrives at the vibrant streets of Los Santos at the tender age of three. Raised in the bustling neighborhood of Lil Seoul, amidst the comforting aromas of his father's ramen stall. Kenzo's father, Daisuke wasn’t a mere ramen chef, he was a practitioner of ancient martial arts and the artistry of the katana. Lil Seoul pulsed with the rhythm of Japanese and Korean customs, alive with shrine festivals and jubilant carnivals. But shadows lurking beneath the surface consumed the old man leaving a young boy and his mother alone.
Despite the challenges, Kenzo's mother worked tirelessly at a local grocery store. Her sacrifices paved Kenzo's life, and he found himself studying in Yokohama at 21. But life's cruelest blow struck, as Kenzo received the devastating news of his mother's murder. Grief-stricken and enraged, he returned to a struggling Lil Seoul, the once-thriving neighborhood now plagued by economic decline.
Embracing his heritage and his father’s past, Kenzo plunged into learning kenjutsu, a path that became both his refuge and his weapon.
Amidst his pain, a ray of loyalty and friendship blossomed in the form of Jordan Wingston, a kindred spirit who shared the pain Kenzo Wattson went through and they became best of friends. Together, they aspired to rekindle the neighborhood's spirit and to unveil the truth behind the corruption tarnishing the government.
Along the way they met many individuals left alone in the world with nowhere to call home. Under the auspices of the Deity Dragon God RyuJin, the Black Dragons emerged - a symbol of strength, unity and a relentless pursuit of justice. As Kenzo shares his heritage, skills and home to his new family their purpose crystallized: avenging his mother's death, toppling corruption, and revitalizing Lil Seoul to its former glory.
