wonderful to see and hear this legendary band. I was a young girl of 18-20 or so and played horn in an all-male all-brass band. The experience shaped me in so many positive ways. it was in the 1950s.

おお‼️ なんとこれぞ本来のブラスバンド（金管バンド)歴史あるバンドであり、イギリスでは職場や社会人バンドのコンクールでトップレベルに君臨するブラックダイクミルズ。コルネットやフリューゲルそしてアルトホンやバリトンなどいわゆる吹奏楽ではほぼ目にしない楽器が独特の音色で奏でる。日本ではブラバンというと木管楽器も編成されてる名称が広がり浸透してるけど。金管アンサンブルが近いかな？ しかし金管ブラス独特の柔らかな膨らみのある音色、超絶技巧は懐かしく素晴らしい❤ トランペットでなくコルネットの甘く柔らかさが魅力だね😊 ちなみにイギリスの軍楽隊でもコルネット使用してるね。 昔は日本でもユーフォではなくバリトンのパート譜面を見たよ。 古希にカウントダウンになる化石吹奏楽愛好者😅

You might want to lookup fanfare orchestras from The Netherlands/Belgium these consist of. Trumpets, flugelhorns, a lot of them compared to other orcheatras. Trombones euphonium, bass, horn, saxophone, and i might have forgotten some instruments. Easy way to look some examples is looking for: ONFK. The dutch open fanfare championship.

Love the band and almost everything they do. But CUTE was played to fast. They need to listen to a classic Basie recording and slow down till its almost painfully slow. But I love the Euphonium and baritone horn sound. In fact the I love all sound of the brass instruments.
