I went bird watching in Monteverde and the instructor told us to listen to a song that sounds like a door opening and closing like a squeaky gate kind of! These birds make absolutely beautiful sounds in the forest mixed with monkeys howling!

I never saw them but while hiking though the cloud forest I could hear these everywhere while gazing into the lush green, it sounded almost ethereal
