Killing your own Fatalis is pretty good news! and I'm glad i was able to help out. I havent added a video for a while now since my computer went down. I'm just using a laptop now and the specs aint enough to make some decent MH videos. O_o

I discovered it by accident, found out the wings take more damage than the legs, and learned how to constantly hit it. YAY!

@Ryumal15 Im not sure i understand what you mean about the plus. Silver Sol is a decent ESP armor that should be able to take on fatalis.

@Ryumal15 If you have white sharpness weapons, having Sharpness+1 skill will raise it to purple. Else, It would be difficult to fight Fatalis. It is still doable though, as your GS attacks will never bounce on the face unless it is blue. Other options would be to use a ranged weapons, or to abuse the DS's demon dance or the Hammer and HH's superpounds as these moves have innate ESP. btw, I assume we're talking G-Rank here...

You forgot to mention you used full jolly roger + Centuar blade

Yeah. It has to be purple so it doesnt bounce. It will still bounce on the tail though even on purple sharpness. ESP could be used in this battle to worry less about bouncing and having less than purple sharpness.

@ExactPsience by the plus i mean the quest that you get for talking to the woman in green behind the counter. the quest i take you need to be hr6 or above. im still making silver sol since i stopped playing for awhile, i just got my 2nd to last ruby last night and gunning for the last today.

Hit behind the leg basically. Even with spirit combo, you might need esp to constantly hit him without bouncing much. should be the same concept when hitting him in the face as with hammers and GS. Just spirit combo his face to deal the most damage.

@dzakkei Crimson is the most difficult when breaking wings with a GS. Try a Hunting Horn instead or better yet, a bow or a bowgun. The wing ht can only be constantly done on black and only sometimes for white. Very difficult against crimson. I've never actually tried it on crimson though. You might be able to find a way. :)

Sigh... Q1: MHFU G-Rank. There is NO G-rank in MHF2... Q2: If you watched the video carefully when i mentioned hitting the wings, I broke the wings right there.

Its a good vid but what king of armor would i bring to a G-rank fata using the Knockout Dragonsword its the best long sword for dragon atribut better than the legendery fata sikle...i bring a LS cause i only have brunhild and eternal eradicartor has GS and i can t even evade him when i use brunhild whit my yamatsucamy set plz reaply:)

@bufarinas Actually, the GS is the fastest way to kill Black Fatalis. I hope youve learned how to hit the face of fatalis from the video... Hitting his face with Lv3 charges about 90+% of the time whenever he lands from his flight will ensure you get the repel/kill. Without ESP, LS will need a little more sharpness management. Keeping an LS at purple is necessary. Silver Sol is a good easy choice to counter the bouncing problem.

@ExactPsience yes the black one (yes i am rasist to black fatas :) )i can avoid all of it s atackes i just can t get him to run away or kill him for that mater i don t know if it s my weapon that is crap cause i hit him a lot of times head legs everiwere and still that thing gives me time up go home... so i am trying to make the knockout dragonsword but getting the laos heavenly scale is not easy

Hey, i need strong black fatalis wings for the dragon x armor, but i never get any. i think i need to break the wings, but i never know whether they are broken or not. i use the single-battle download quest, as i cant manage the g rank training required to unlock the legitemate fatalis quest. any tips? seeing as your an expert. don't worry esp is awesomely useful from white fata armor:rare 8 but fatalis is dragon i am absolutely shure only 1 hit you are dead lol XD

It's the best fatalis family destroyer weapon with bomber and trap master in rathalos X/huntersoulshirt mix. No need for sharpness+1 nor focus.
