I absolutely love the HD Road King Classic (I wish they were made in the US). The simplicity, the spoked wheels, the white wall tires, and the avalanche of aftermarket parts. Such a joy and beauty to behold. For my retirement, I purchased a brand new 2012 Road King Classic (blue/black) that I configured with my preferences. It had the touring trunk, the HD GPS, the BOOM audio twin speakers, adjustable backrest, etc. Unfortunately, in 2017, the divorce lawyers required a sacrifice and my dream motorcycle was lost on the chopping block. But I digress. I’m 56 years young and have been riding since I was 13. I’ve lost count of the number of motorcycles I’ve had the pleasure to ride and own. Having said that, my 2012 Road King Classic was the best riding experience I’ve had on a motorcycle. I’m retired now and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to own one again, but at the very least I have my fond experiences. No one can ever take those away. If you own one, enjoy the good times and make lots of memories. Needless to say, I highly recommend one.

Hey mate nice ride and video. What is the Top speed for the Road king ? Any difference in speed with different road king years? Whats the Highest speed it can MAINTAIN (comfortable) for a long period?

Why do you keep scraping your boards, I've been on many curvy roads, including the dragon on a road king and have not scraped my floor boards. Have you had your bike lowered ?

The Road King is original, not deeper. I drive sometimes, unfortunately, even as with my previous bike, the KTM 990 SM.

Nice scenes on your ride, but what was the rush. It seems you passed up beautiful scenes on the ride and just wondering if you got a chance to really enjoy the ride while making some un safe passes with other vehicles. please be safe nice video.

Waren heute wieder im Schwarzwald. Kennen einige der Strecken die du gefahren bist. Kannst dir das Video gern mal auf meinem Kanal anschauen. Im Sommer geht es wieder mit dem Cabrio hin. Allerdings wäre es auch mal interessant so eine Tour mit einem Bike zu machen. Leider fehlt mir dafür der entsprechende Führerschein. Trotzdem ein gutes Video. Solltest nur beim nächsten Mal den Ton rausnehmen und das ganze mit Musik untermalen. Kommt wesentlich besser rüber. ;)

Hi Kann es sein das du das falsche Bike fährst? Ich fahr die gleiche und bei mir kratzt es 2 mal im Jahr am Teer. HeHeHe

Bin vorher KTM 990 SM gefahren und mit der hat es auch zwischendurch gekratzt. Liebe eben das Kurvenfahren sehr. ;-)
