I still think about her some, and she did reach out a few times and tell me I was the best man she ever met, but that's where the story ends. Lemuria was actually a scientific hypothesis from the 1840s - the Geologist who proposed it noted that there were Lemurs in Madagascar and India so he posited there was a sunken continent that connected them in a distant time. Then, after WWII, soñar and radar mapped the oceans and the theory of plate tectonics was proven by the planetary oceanic rifts. Some still hold to Lemuria as a real place but it was a fairly recent invention that is not supported by the actual scientific proof once ocean floors were mapped. Some say Atlantis was in what is now Saharan Africa - the climate was wet until well after the last ice age and was where Imperial Rome got its wheat until a few centuries after the Empire was formed North Africa became too arid to grow wheat.
