They buy these shit brand tv's that fail after months or a year, then they buy another on the next black friday. In the end they end up spending more on shit tv's when they could have bought one that last 10 or 15 years

I like that attitude Cruzin...enjoy your money why you still can...travel, eat, drink, smoke, hike, golf, gamble...whatever, just enjoy, because you cant take it with you. Retire early Henry, is this what you look forward too....geezes......so you can sit around and wait to die, these are your prime years, you need to do everything and enjoy everything before you get old and worn out....and don't ever retire, just do something that you enjoy, retirement will kill you quicker then a heart attack. Always enjoy your Black Friday videos! Before even Black Friday cause the sales were already going, I picked up the ps4 with the marvel spider-man game, and I also picked up a copy of Overwatch and Detroit Become Human each for $20 a piece. That PS4 bundle sold out literally everywhere they offered it, it was crazy! As far as movies goes, I went to that same Best Buy, picked up Incredibles 2, Captain America Civil War (someone put a copy in the sales bins where it shouldn't have been), Ant Man and the Wasp, Hitmans Body Guard, Avengers Infinity War, and Spiderman Homecoming.

I went to Target on black Friday in my city in the Dallas area and it was not as busy as I remembered the previous years. Maybe folks are doing their shopping online this year.

Online shopping for Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals have cut down the traffic flow in the stores. As a retail associate I have noticed the difference just the last couple of years.

My Walmart had the line for the movies and only so many were allowed in at a time, but they didn't time you when you got in there. By the time I finished looking they opened it up to everyone as the crowds had thinned.

Movies and video games at my Walmarts were in grocery section along the meat and dairy walls. Other years they used to put them by the entrances.

Old video but some idea as to how things have changed. since u can see ads sooner then later, it helps toplan a trip and that might be why some stores busier then others. and guess no more chaos as years before since u can get stuff online same as if at store, and i tried check site for walmart but some stuff was not on site so gotta wait and grab if any i want at time for dvd. so yea as below, we are all more slecive as what we get anytime now. so less chaos and more saving now days if any.

Its nice to physically own stuff and if you buying stuff on digital so often the blu-rays come with the digital copy and ends up being the same price so ifs its a movie you really love makes sense to get a copy.

I have been cutting down on buying physical stuff the past couple years I just got the 4K of Incredibles 2 and Teen Titans Go To The Movies. Crowds around me are not that bad, we have chain by me that starts their BF deals at 6am Thanksgiving Day. I personally just enjoy the energy of everybody shopping on BF

The stores around the Boston area were super busy but that was on the ACTUAL Black Friday not on Thanksgiving. Massachusetts dosent allow stores to open on Thanksgiving. I guess the crowds depend on where you live

...all about the tangible. Who needs content when you can get slip covers, multi-colored case, etc. Plus there's the art of removing stickers and not damaging the slip. Digital codes and streaming just don't offer all this!

Target's sales were just terrible this year compared to the competition. For example, Infinity War BD was only $7 at Best Buy. Meanwhile at target it was like $12.

The UK didn’t have Black Friday but about 5 years ago the retailers started copying the idea off the USA. The problem with the UK deals though is they are often like 5-15% discount max so certainly nothing worth fighting over or impulse buying because you often get better prices throughout the year then you do on that day. TV’s are always cheap in Dec as CES is held in Jan so out with the old stock ready for the new models.

I got Tag Game Night Kung Fu Panda and Sing Crash and Spyro remastered from Meijer on Thanksgiving I also got Monsters University and Kung Fu Panda 3 from Hard Copies on Actual Friday and then the following Saturday I got Paddington 2 Ferniad and Madagascar and all of the movies for Blu Ray

The only thing worth getting on Black Friday anymore are TVs. Deals get worse and worse every year. Back when Black Friday actually started on Friday you would see like $1 to $4 movies and cheaper gaming deals. Now Black Friday is more of a big ad in itself. They know people will be flocking to stores so they know they don't really need to try anymore. $8 to $9 for movies is not a deal at all, especially since streaming has become so popular and movies can be purchased in like new condition used at lower prices, and the NES classic was always $60, as that is the standard retail price.
