It sold and has come in a few times for some random maintenance things. I think the JL is done. I believe he got it back and is driving it. We sold him quite a few parts but did unfortunately did not do the work.

Man another broken winch rope. I understand the benefits of rope but they sure seem to break alot. Are they really safer than cable? If one broke pulling a rig uphill seems like it could roll back quickly causing a roll over or other sudden bad movement. Any input to change my mind? Another sweet video by the way. 👍

That’s the first one I’ve seen break in a very long time. If it had been a wire cable that broke someone would’ve likely gotten hurt. There are so many different scenarios you just never know.

Synthetic or steel. It’s still important to inspection your line periodically for abrasions that could be present. But in terms of failure strength as well as safety, a synthetic line is vastly superior.

@@jaredjubran7294 it’s the flat one. And, the converters have crumbled apart and probably don’t have anything left in them. She’s got 140K on her now.
