Black Friday haul part 1! 2023

That ILNP Fairy Dust was my fav from the year. It really shocked me how special it was. I wore 2 coats over a blurring base and it was so stunning and the formula was really great. I almost ordered Zoya's Adel, but switched to Lucy at the last second. Its also a sheer white but morr sheet than Adel. I'm hoping Lucy will have a better application. Ive had Serephina in my Zoya wishlist forever; I may have to get it now! 😊

The fairy dust is sooo so pretty! I’m going to try and wear it in the spring. Lucy does have a better formula. A very nice formula. Sheer but levels very nicely

Oo jealous of Peppermint Bark! I remember Polish with Rae hauling that one and I thought it would be super cute for Valentines Day as well. Speaking of which… you, Raechel and Mercedes convinced me I had to get KB Shimmer Take It Or Leaf It after those gorgeous manis y’all posted! I picked up that plus another topper - Yes Weekend. Then I shopped Painted Polish for two from the painted chip collection and a white crelly.

Your enthusiasm for toppers makes me want to use mine more! I have some matte glitters, a very dainty bar glitter and some sheer polishes to play around with at home. I got some clearance limited edition from Emily de Molly, 2 magnetics to see if I like applying them. I love one … not as much the other because I had some trouble magnetising it.

I also bought 10 polishes from Zoya during their 70% off sale. I purchased Sylva too. I have a few of the ILNP toppers you bought. I just purchased Wonderland a few months ago and Love Triangle has been a favorite topper of mine for years. It might end up being my first re-purchase because I have used it so much! It has copper and rose gold flakies and tiny silver micro glitters. They stand out much more when you put it over a cream polish. I have also been wanting ILNP Fairy Dust and Forest Drive - they are on my wishlist. Nailed It Peppermint Bark is so pretty!

I know once you go down the rabbit hole it gets overwhelming! I have slowly narrowed down and have been trying to keep to my very favorite brands with an occasional purchase from forgotten favorites (like Nol)

If you think Rogue is bad at shipping, then don’t order from Great Lakes Lacquer, it takes at least 2 months from the date of order to get them. Ridiculous wait time in my opinion, but she does have really beautiful shimmers.

Especially since she gets the payment for the polishes immediately, not when she ships. 2 months is a long time to have someone’s money and no product going out. She must wait until the preorder is over before she ever even starts mixing.

Bought a bunch of Zoya during their 10 polishes for $25 sale 😊 I had to laugh out loud when you said that Shimmering Mauve was so ugly to you, because the second you showed it, I thought oooh pretty 😂 How funny how different everyone's taste is 😄 I instead still can't warm up with pruglies. I want to like them, but so far no luck. I rather wear grandma shad3s like Shimmering Mauve 😊

Have you switched to the z wide brush for the Zoyas? Adele has an amazing formula for me, but I use the z wide brush. I feel like Adele is almost too opaque to do jelly sandwiches with. So I usually do a base of one or two coats Adele, then my glitter/flakie, then a coat of Lucy on top to get that squishy jelly sandwich look. Adele is also great to just put toppers over and still get a squishy look. I ordered from Zoya, ILNP and Rogue too. But my Rogue order was the advent, it just arrived on Black Friday. I was very disappointed in those polishes. Also got a trio from Orly with Deck the Halls, a gold polish and a red polish. Not the same red you got. I feel like they kept switching up the trios.

Hi there! Yes I use z-wide for all my zoyas and swapped out the brushes before I did my swatches. I think that’s an excellent idea about using both Lucy and Adele to get the perfect white jelly! I’m going to try that. Yes orly had a couple different trios that had the two toppers in it. One was a gold that I decluttered years ago and I think one had a red cream and I have lots of red creams. I think I was trying something different and hoping I’d like it 😂

I have zoya adel and I don’t wear it because the formula is so bad. Glad it’s not just me lol You laughing at orly shimmering mauve made my day. You’re right, it’s ugly. 😂 they were definitely trying to get rid of it by pairing it up with the other 2.

Do you use the z wide flat brushes? My bottle of pepper has a beautiful formula, but I feel like if you use thr standard brush you would have streak issues

Yes all my zoyas have z-wide! I swapped them all out before I did my swatches. I’ll try to do better application when I wear it and see if that helps.
