This entire musical hit me in the heart. My life is nearly identical to Lex's, right down to my 14 year old sister also called Hannah whom I'm trying to save from our abusive and neglectful parents. Small town, people know, they knew, don't care, they just talk about it. It is incredibly sad to watch it, but also, cathartic. This song makes SENSE to me. I used to believe in angels, too. Now I understand that you can't trust anyone. Not even yourself. I used to rock Hannah to sleep, too. And feed her, and read to her. I taught her to read and write. When I was nine, I planned for weeks to run away and stopped because I couldn't leave her. I still haven't left her. I'm not leaving until she can come to. Friday is black, yeah, but there's hope in love - that's what I get out of this song. It makes me cry everytime.

I'm doing this for my grade 5 singing because my teacher loves it, especially since it's a smaller musical so it's more unique and i give an emotional delivery so it works nicely. Thanks for this backing track, it really helps practice!
