I'm sure it's been said, but I really appreciate how you call these actions "decisions", and bad decisions at that. It's an important distinction to make for anyone that's interested in these videos and these lifestyles.
@danielblake1537 Жыл бұрын
Agree, it's annoying when you watch other videos like this and the narrator is talking about horrible things like it's the coolest thing in the world to be a killer or serial killer or just a straight terrorist to their own communities have everybody living in fear and people act like that's the way to live, when the ones who been through tough times and in some hairy situations KNOWS what that life entails and leads to and doesnt want to live like that, it's usually the young dummies who romanticize the "gangster, drug dealer" roles because hip hop songs make it seem cool but the refuse to pay attention to all the negative things that come with it, they just picture themselves the modern day "Superfly" with all the money, nice cars and women you can get...but that's 1 tiny piece to the whole thing and they dont think about how the girls usually only out for your money or status, those nice cars can be confiscated by police if they catch you selling drugs, and the money changes people and then you gotta worry if your main people are going to turn on you and cut you out the equation. And they dont look at the probability of making it out the other side being rich, with no enemies trying to kill you or rat you at, with no prison time...because if you look at the gangs, crews, organizations who tried making it big the illegal way, the government came in and destroyed the organizations with R.I.C.O. charges and soon everybody turns on everybody to save their own asses. I much rather just be myself and live a normal life without all that bullsh*t because I've seen it time and time again it never pays to do crime it's like gambling, you get addicted to winning more and more and you keep playing until you crap out then leave with absolutely nothing, the odds are agaisnt you from the jump!

The BGF i dealt with in Bmore were all real ass dudes, it didnt matter who you were or what style you had or color you were, just aslong as you came at them with money,and respect they did the same to you. Everyone of them had the cresent moon with the star tatted on their face, and they told me how the cops were on the payroll, getting paid off to sell their product without having to worry about being ran up on and raided. Because it would be broad daylight out and they'd be yelling at all the cars passing by letting them know they had hard and caps for sale, and seeing a long ass line of people wrapped around the corner waiting to cop their drugs in the alleyways or what they called "The Hole" "go to the hole!" Lol so it was definitely obvious what was going on and cops were everywhere riding by, and constantly in helicopters flying overhead, yet they never got popped. I remember seeing this older guy knocked out laid out flat in the middle of the road, a female cop ends up pulling up and manage to wake him up and got him to get off the road and she just got back in her car and rolled out, lol and yea i remember when that happened with the higher up BGF member in jail knocked up like 6 C.O.'s who were helping him out lol i was like thats straight up crazy, but it shows you how deep corruption runs with authorities. Its like noone will help the City out to fix up the vacant buildings its like the wild west on the east side. One story i remember that was messed up and shows the crookedness of the police there, 1st things was like 5 cops (might of been DEA but i think they were cops) they were all working together to rob drug dealers and also planting drugs on people who had a past and would lock them up for it when these A-holes were setting it all up. And 2nd story 2 cops riding together decide to try and pull over a car that they knew was a drug dealer and they were trying to rob him of the drugs and money, so the dude took off on them when he hit tge lights and as the cops were wrecklessy driving in a heavy traffic and populated area, and they end up flying up into the front of a house where an old man was outside sitting on his porch, minding his own business as the cops swerved out and hit the porch, hit the elder guy with their car along with the debris and instead of stopping the chase and worry about the innocent guy or at the very least say over the radio that they need more assistance and an ambulance for the victim....but No, they didnt let anyone know and just continued to try and chase the initial car as the guy was slowly dying and over an hour went by before they let anyone know what happened smh theres no telling the extent of what these crooked cops have done and gotten away with. It seems to be easier for them to get away with in inner cities that arent doing good, and crime is high, like Chicago, Detroit, N.Y. (back in the day) and along with that comes crooked cops who gets more and more brazen to do illegal things. Yall should checkout the documentary called "The Seven Five" its gives a glimpse into what the mind of police officers really are when their in private with their buddy partners

My uncle was a long time member of BGF, n was killed n 2012. He was hit by a car a week before he was shot n killed, so clearly someone was trying to take him out. We feel he was close with his killer or killers cause he was found without a gun or at least a blade on him, n he never even took a shit wit out his gun so for him to be found basically naked ( no protection) means he was comfortable enough to leave the house without anything so his killer or killers were close to him. He felt he didn't need anything. Smfh. Not saying he was a angel cause he was far from it, but it's still alot of questions the family needs answers to. I bet I saw them at his funeral smiling n the family's face. R.I.P Gangsta Co

Tay first mixtape came out in 2014. Most of ygg and ttg from the longwood and edmondson area and south Baltimore. Everybody ain’t locked up it’s a lot of people that never got caught or was already locked up and just came home. It’s a lot more going on in the city than what you can find on the internet. That’s why the wire wasn’t a accurate depiction of Baltimore they made it of news paper clippings and piecing together multiple people’s stories.
@meechietheboss1793 Жыл бұрын
it was accurate as they could’ve made it bro, my gpa knew the black producer and we would always be on his float at the MLK Parade.. he told us alot of the stuff he wanted to show he got blackballed from showing
@savage23sw Жыл бұрын
@@meechietheboss1793 Don’t get me wrong it’s a good show but it’s not exactly Baltimore. It’s a lot of politics that went into the show even getting cleared. With it causing people actually from here to look into the corruption in politics and the police. I know most of the actual people the characters are supposed to depict. Prop joe is my uncle, Avon and bodie are the same person in real life but in the show live two different lives. Stringer bell wasn’t related to Avon and a lot of the bust they are depicting in the show had nothing to do with the people in the in real life either. I don’t know if you ever saw the show the corner about a family from west Baltimore deondre Fran and Gary that’s a as close to Baltimore as you could get with Charles s Dutton directing it and the actual characters being alive and on set giving tips.
@WarrenHolly Жыл бұрын
@@savage23sw yeah! That blew me Avon one character and Bodie another. But they do stuff like that like they might take 3 real life people and combine certain characteristics t.into 1 person. Crazy.
@savage23sw Жыл бұрын
@@WarrenHolly A lot of characters in the wire are either split into different people based off of multiple people or just there. Cutty was based off of coach Calvin and another old head that’s why only part of his story is boxing. The donut character that use to be with mike and dookie really was just himself. He actually use to steal cars they just put him in the show.

As an observer from Europe, I see America as a very corrupt country with a lot of internal serious problems and a difficult life, such a big, rich and powerful country is basically very rotten at its core. Very sad. I wish all normal and honest Americans, regardless of race, an honorable and beautiful life. Greetings from Europe, from Luka Dončić's hometown Peace and Luv to Baltimore from Ljubljana

I think this would be a wonderful opportunity to pause for a moment and give thanks for the great contributions of the Black community to our society. Their peaceful and generous nature make them ideal neighbors, lending testimony to their exceptional family values and parenting skills unrivaled by any other culture. Their commitment to academic excellence enriches our schools and serves as an example to all who hope to achieve prominence as a people. Real estate values are fueled by the mix of African Americans into an area due to their caring and respectful nature of these communities, an example of all they have achieved through their enthusiasm for self- improvement by hard work and a self-reliant can-do nature. Without their industrious and creative drive, we would most undoubtedly be poorer as a nation.
