Yeah I remember my first job. I was a cleaner for a business. Some people were nice and treated me decently and others treated me with disrespect. Like I was beneath them. Just because I was a cleaner.

Wow! Yes, I remember my first job, and I definitely was not treated like that. As a person in of colour, I can tell you that racism in the UK is a lot more subtle than that, which in some cases can be worse. That's because if you ever had proof of racism in the work place, the employer would be in serious trouble.

The first one I mentioned where my friend was the CEO and “..no pay for a year” where my friend Ben gave me a job where I worked for free, I was living at home with my dad and free rent etc. Then, after he passed, I got the job I currently have. I didn’t mean that my sister’s job pays me free
