Guys, most boy groups/girl groups don't have backup dancers. NCT as a whole doesn't have any, all the people you see in the MV are members. 21 members, 4 subunits, and they all sing in multiple languages. The oldest member is 24 and the youngest is 17. They come from the same company as EXO which is SM Entertainment, in case you were wondering. Hope this helps 😊

There is no set number in the NCT U unit They are a rotational unit so depending on the style of the MV they add however many NCT members are necessary for that video for example NCT U’s Without U is a more vocal song with no choreography so there are only 3 vocal members in that MV NCT U’s Baby Don’t Stop there are only 2 members a rapper and vocalist both main dancers because that was all that was needed for that MV NCT 127 is more of a fixed unit. The members don’t change as often

NCT suppose to have infinite members. Every year they will introduce new members. Under NCT there are couples of branches. NCT127 is a fixed 10 members group, Taeyong is the leader. NCTU is a rotational group, the members are choosen based on the concept of the song. Thats why NCTU 7th sense and NCTU Boss has different members. NCTU Baby Dont Stop as well as they have only 2 members. Depends on the mood and concept of the song. NCTDream members are not fixed as well consists of teenagers. They will ‘graduate’ once hit 20/21 y/o. WAYV (formerly known as NCTChina, had to change name due to korea-china issue) based in China consists of members with Chinese ethnicity. Please do a guide to EXO, STRAY KIDS, and NCT; NCT actually has 21 members now, while in the video they only had 18. They have 4 units NCT U, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, and NCT WAYV. Majority of the members are in 2 of the sub units, minus Mark he was in 3 but is now to old to be in NCT DREAM. They consist of Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Canadian, Thai, and American ( although one member can speak German and Spanish, not sure). Basically the way NCT works is that it has unlimited members. As of now there are 21 members but there will be more in the future. There are 4 subgroups. NCT 127 is a fixed group which has the original members of NCT which they first debuted with the exception of 1 person who was added recently. NCT U changes depending on the song and album So who ever fits the song better is chosen. NCT Dream is everyone 19 and younger. So once they turn 20, they graduate from NCT DREAM. Then there’s WayV which is their Chinese subgroup. It’s the newest subgroup but not all the members are Chinese. The members can be in more than one subgroup That’s just a rough description. It’s not too difficult once u know all the members and how each of them fits into NCT as a whole. Not all of NCT’s members are korean. They’re a mix of korean, American, Canadian, Japanese, Thai, Chinese, and one of the members of German. A lot of the members are both vocalists and rappers. But some of them are solely vocalists or solely rappers. All of them are very good dancers, but they have a few main dancers. The best way to learn about them is watching an introduction video. But it has to be a newer one because 3 new people were added this year.

Every song has different members of NCT, really they just use whoever fits the concept of the song better. NCT or Neo Culture Technology is a unlimited member group. There are 4 sub-units of it : Nct 127 , Nct Dream , Nct U and WayV. NCT 127 (127 is longitude of seoul) is a sub-unit that consists of 10 members they're a fixed unit . NCT Dream is the teen sub-unit. All of the members are teen rn if they became 20 yrs old in korea they graduate from the group and they can join the other sub-units too. As of now 6 members are still in Nct dream while Mark graduated last year. Nct U is a rotational sub-unit. Every song there's a different members in it. The 7th Sense has 5 members whilr Boss has 7 members. WayV is the china based sub unit of NCT . All of them are chinese even though ten isn't pured chinese. It consist of 6 members. Anyone can be added into NCT Dream as long as they fit their concept and are of the right age. NCT U is a rotational group meaning that with each comeback there are different people every time (some are in more than one comeback). So, let's say for one comeback there are seven members in it, for another comeback they have five. It all depends on who fits the concept of the comeback. At the moment the people who have been in an NCT U song are Taeyong, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Winwin, Jungwoo, Lucas, Mark, Taeil, Ten and Kun. WayV is their China-based subunit who are under the SME label but also under their China exclusive label, Label V. They are relatively new and just debuted earlier this year in January. There are SEVEN members; Kun (leader), Winwin (also in NCT 127), Ten, Lucas, Xiaojun, Hendery and Yangyang. The last three of those are the new addition to the NCT family and debuted only this year with WayV. It was made to be a group with unlimited members and multinational with the goal of promoting all over the world. The members are from South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, Thailand, USA, Canada, Taiwan. NCT U (U = United) is a rotational group. They basically pick a song and then pick the members that fit the concept so this group will always change. No leader in this group but Taeyong is in all the vids (except Without You) and is sort of the de facto leader. NCT 127 - fixed group of 9/10 members (the iffy member is WinWin since he promotes with WayV - see below) main group based in Seoul, also mainly marketing in the US and Japan. They’ve added members over the past 3 years but it’s now essentially set. Leader Taeyong. Members: Taeil, Johnny (Limitless onwards), Yuta, Doyoung (Limitless onwards) Jaehyun, WinWin (all but Superhuman), Jungwoo (Regular onwards), Mark, Haechan WayV - maybe fixed group? 7 members, Chinese subunit marketing in China. Here's the thing. Kpop groups don't usually have back-up dancers in their MVs, and if they do, you can identify then because they're dress differently from the Kpop idol members, like the back-ups are all the black dresses or something. And in NCT, they are unlimited you. Group member can come and go in NCT U and 127, while in NCT Dream all members are in their teen years. Hope this can help.

To clarify, their part of NCT 2018, same with NCT 127, NCT Dream and WayV. U stands for united. This isn't a regular group, it's rotative, so all the members belong to other units. The red hair is Taeyong (and yep, he can do it all - sing, rap and dance. He's also the center, the visual, and the official leader of 127. The hole project doesn't have a leader, but all the guys behave as if Taeyong was leading them all the time). NCT stands for Neo Culture Technology. basically their whole concept is that the group can have an unlimited number of members (since they can just create an nct subgroup or subunit with the "nct" label like "nct u" and put in whoever fits that group's concept). the way i think of it as well is that they're lowkey going for global and international musical domination since they have an infinite number of potential members, concepts, groups etc. BUT they're all under the same company so if all the groups are successful, then SM Entertainment (their company) would make BANKKKK. anywho, nct is made up of *multiple* units and currently has 21 members. -*nct u* is a rotational unit, meaning everytime they come back, it can be with any member in nct (21 total). -*nct127* is a fixed unit (it has 9 or 10 members depending on who you ask because one of the members winwin is now in the chinese unit and not promoting with the rest of the group right now).
