I had a good time the one year I went out there, but between weather and my work schedule combined, it ain't been happening since! Being self employed, I have a real A hole for a boss. Then again, I just bought more land, further preserving my runway, thanks to all that work. The Badlands Traveler looks bad ass, especially as it appears Clint has it totally wired and is getting the most out of it.

Looks like it was great fun Todd! You my have had to much weight to be competitive for distance but D@## dude, you were NAILING the line! I want to see some video of you when light! We’ve all known your plane control is great as you slot into high and tight landing zones but you showed off up there buddy!

That’s the first I’ve seen of the S21 in a stol comp. how does it do?

ehhh.... it does ok. numbers aren't real impressive for a stol contest, but when you factor in how fast it is... it does well! good backcountry machine, not a great off airport machine is how I would sum it up (light duty off airport is ok). once in the air, they are impressively fast airplanes....

as Keith said, the yellow one has a cessna wing... he knows that plane quite well lol!... it performs great! that was the 2nd badlands traveller and it is no joke. the 150 wing with a sportsman kit, o-320 makes for a well balanced combo...the blue/grey one has the new prototype wing, and titan 340 and it is putting out some great numbers and performance, but of course is more time consuming and complicated/expensive to build vs. getting a cessna wing and slapping it on.
