When tommy was talking about the blackholes being attracted to a random location. Here's an alternate view. Everything in the universe is attracted to each other. A star a billion light years away pulls you, and you pull it back, the force is reduced by the distance, but theoretically, if dark energy doesn't mess us up, at sone point all blackholes would combine.

Yes, as poetic as the universe closing in on itself sounds, it will probably sadly not happen. Current findings favor the big freeze death, where the expansion of the universe will prevent everything collapsing together. Eventually, the last black holes of the universe will die, and long after that, energy and heat will be distributed evenly throughout the universe, making it so that nothing can ever happen, again.

you forgot the forever-accelerating expansion of the universe. Two objects that are far enough from each other would never collide due to the space between them expanding faster than the speed of light

The question "Wasen't there also nothing Pre-Big Bang?" is very interesting to me. What if, hypothetically, there was a universe before "our" big bang? And a universe before that. Maybe when the universe begins to die, everything begins to close in and explode, creating a new big bang. It basically proves the multiverse theory. I could also be dumb, but it would explain how the big bang came to be, correct?

i mean its really something beyond our reach of understanding to be realistic. not even a scientist, mathematician, etc. could get you any closer to the answer, which is why we can only create what our minds can grasp. i dont think we can possibly figure out that without destroying our minds. it would be like an ant trying to understand what society is. you know...

More likely that the singularity before the big bang is the entire universe itself compressed into a single point. Infinitely hot and infinitely dense and basically infinitely unstable. When it started to expand that's when space was created (like literal space as in the space between stuff). That allowed for stuff to cool down and form into stuff like atoms but cuz of gravity, stuff likes to stick together and make stars etc. but thats only in the higher density areas of space, space itself is still expanding and will continue to expand until space is so infinitely spread that atoms will never be able to interact with one another again. If you cant imagine that then just imagine yourself in a room with that rooms volume of air. You can breathe normally but imagine if that room were to become a warehouse but with only the rooms volume of air. Suddenly you cant breathe because you're basically in a vacuum right now and eventually you die

Then how was the first, original, universe created? After the complete consumption from a black hole and it dies, but it creates a new universe how did it originally come to be the first time? If out of nothing came something and something was destroyed by a black hole which was destroyed and started a new there still is an absence of the beginning.

9:43 we kind of do something like that. It is called Pyrolysis-analysis. Usually with Gas-Chromatography-Mass-Spectrometry (GCMS). Pyrolysis (meaning "fire cleavage") is a process of heating a sample to the point where it disintegrates, in an inter atmosphere (to avoid burning it to CO2 and stuff since you loose a lot of information if you just make everything into CO2). The pieces that larger molecules in the sample break down to are characteristic for the molecule. You then inject the gaseous pyrolysis products into a device to analyze them (usually CGMS, GC separates different gases based on their interactions with a polymer coated tube and MS separates molecules based on mass). It is actually a very common technique and can be a powerful tool in analytical chemistry.

Videos like these just make me anxious because I try to wrap my mind out of it, I overthink it or can't fully understand and that just leads to a massive panic attack, death terrifies me but also interests me, because when I die, where the hell will my consciousness go? Where will my soul go?, does my consciousness get reconstituted into a new being in a new world or universe? These are answers I would love to know because it would bring me such peace of mind

Its pretty much guaranteed that no theory we have is correct, and what black holes do is irreconcilable with our current interpretation of physics. This is what happened with quantum physics and general relativity, and we still can't fully reconcile them to this day. We are but humans and while we try to rationalize exactly how the universe works, the reality is that we will never reach full understanding.

6:48 well according to our understanding "before the big bang" really does not make any sense. As time started at the big bang, there is no before. Similarly, when the "heat-death" of the universe is complete, time looses its meaning, as there no longer are any changes in entropy. The increase in entropy is what gives the "direction of time" meaning, so no change in entropy => no direction of time.

Do you wanna get mingfked even more? The black sphere you "see" as the black hole is only a visual diametre. That means, if u have a basketball big blackhole, just for scale, its physical mass might just be the size of a sandcorn in the middle of the basketball. So u could say that a black hole is the ultimate poser.

To your philosophical rant: There is no more meaning in the atoms we are made of being from something ells before than there is in the atoms from a nail you just shed that is no longer a part of 'you'. 'We' humans are whatever consciousness is. The body is just a structure. If you lose an arm, the arm is just dead on the ground. No meaning to it. Molecular machinery. Conscious life is what matters. All other 'life' is simply mechanical machines. Atoms repelling eachother and moving about from the force fields they have, and warmth and electricity causing movement. Neural networks of atoms can however make awareness, consciousness. For whatever unknown reason. So whatever meaning you find in our bodies atoms previously being part of some other thing in history that meaning is just in your memory. It is you mistaking a meaningful association between your memories as a meaningful connection in the physical world. It aint there.
