I love the entire 12 series . I went from the 11 to the 12 pro because I wanted to try the pro model out for once. But I’m team Dark ! It’s easier on my eyes i love it and it helps on battery .

You might be on TRUE TONE setting. Disable it and it should look more white/blue

Nope, it's a deep black!! Because the back is glass, the shine/reflection may make it look a bit lighter but it's def still black
