I've not heard Mark interviewed before. What a top guy. Clearly knows his stuff but humble and articulate. Would love to sail with him. Great interview. Thanks

Truly esoteric. I can't wait for this fascinating technology to trickle down to day racing and performance cruising. Thank you for this amazing interview!

The issue is the adverage person on the street who is ether learning or intermidiate advanced can not afford this shit. I am an advanced dinghy sailer and i feel there are other ways of going about it.

Hopefully, they will one day have bowsprits as long as the boat itself for an awe-inspiring amount of sail.

Not so much about sails as about getting around the rules. LOL. Even funnier is this guys explanation of how many boats double up their (yellow) storm jib but that "We have storm jib, but we also have a carbon purpose built sail" = Me thinks that having 2 sails would be heavier. I've always been let down by North sails. They force you into having what they have/offer and aren't at all interested in trying anything new. THEY KNOW is their only answer. I got hand made sails locally and have been regularly up there with a "slower" boat on paper. LOL. I even came up with a way of gaining more effective sail area without changing the surface - I changed the cut and shape. It works. Would open up such a huge market for them, but they don't want the licence. LOL.
