Hey guys! This week we're working on adding a black knight boss / mini boss. Also doing some work with the inside of the castle to make it look a bit better. There is still a lot to be done, but so far I'm happy with what we got! :)

Hey! If you're new here, welcome! I'm an indie game developer, currently working on a physics based game using Unity. This is my devlog / devblog where I show off the progress I make on it. I'll try uploading every week, but I'm pretty busy with university and part time job, so I won't have time every week. But I'll do my best!

I found this really inspiring. A lot of the time, I get hung up on not having enough done, and then I get discouraged and wind up feeling like my projects are too big. This reminded me that it's okay to only do one or two things each day, and they'll eventually add up. I really needed that, so thank you.

I thought about it, but it would be kinda hard to make a ragdoll crouch. That's why I tried making a slide mechanic instead. It doesn't quite work yet, but I'll figure it out! :)

For some more castle design I feel like some armor stands, pillars or something which should be inside a castle. Also you could parry the mace spikes back at the black night doing some damage but not much.

Instead of just a wall sliding down at the boss fight, you should have an iron gate fall or a cave-in where a bunch of rocks fall just behind you, trapping you in there with "The Black Knight". Just suggestions! Keep up the great work! 😋

Hey Dani cool video as always. I have an idea: when you drop in the castle maybe it would be cool if a big boulder would start chasing you until you are at the boss room. The boulder would then stop (get stuck) which would also block the player of escaping
