It's a very nice-looking unit, and it's an even a decent light set up. But Amber for security is an absolute waste of time. Especially if it is one of those companies that likes to run them at all times instead of using them to respond to incidents, emergencies, and calls for service.

I can see that. My patrol vehicle utilizes the “Blue/Amber/White” combo on a low profile light bar with alleyway and frontal takedown lights similar to that of LEO cruisers. I only use my ambers when I’m on routine patrols for visibility/deterrence, and only use the full combo for code 3 or armed response.

What lights are good for security? I believe in most states you cant use blue or red on security vehicles, the only other option would be green which again is usually illegal to use nowadays

@@paradice9920 as you said, it depends entirely on your state laws. However generally, green is a much better alternative. However it is important that they not be run continuously that is the dumb shit that makes security officers look like idiots compared to other professional Public Safety officers, including law enforcement. They should be utilized when necessary for responding to a call, or if necessary, as a steady burn cruise light

Is your company a police support company? Or a city security company? Which is it? The exterior is too similar to a police vehicle, so it's hard to tell the difference.

If you used those type vehicles here in the UK to do mobile patrols/Response you would take security here to a whole new professional level not to mention you'd get clients left right and centre and I know several security staff who would do it for ya including myself 😉

In our parks district patrol car we have a roof mounted FLIR system to see any activity at night in the parks. It is a great tool. Not sure how the parks are down in so cal. I'm up in Sacramento.

Black Knight Patrol Have a i I guardian angel and the lights on my guardian angel are blue and yellow I got that approved by the sheriffs department

James Groth the California vehicle code strictly prohibits blue lights and forward facing red lights except for law enforcement. The guardian angel light goes on your body, therefore you can use any colors you want. We are based in San Pedro

Shame american security companies don't expand to different countries to provide security services like our British Securitas and G4S does, american security is best in the world, here in UK ours isn't worth a nut especially since s.i.a took over, and we don't have any legal empowerment if it wasn't for my daughter I'd move to America to do security instead very professional.

@@OtaniNoAsagi exactly. I've patrolled in poorly lit lots and properties and a single hand held flashlight wasn't enough. I used my car's lights and it made a huge difference.
