GNARLY ROOTS!! I love it!! Trees are really taking on a miniature look - so pretty! Despite being on everything's menu, locusts are definitely one of my favs. Trunks and roots can be so twisty and ... well ... gnarly, but the leaves make them look absolutely graceful.

I think those leaves would frustrate me like the Blue Jac leaves. They’re developing nicely. Nice trimming. Thanks, keep growing

I think you would like these better than jacaranda leaves...but they are mealy and spider mites first choice on the buffet. 😅🍺🍺

they were introduced to Hungary over a hundred years ago to stop sand dunes from rolling-they are excellent tool handle wood and firewood and honey producers and have edible flowers and chickens LOVE their leaves-but they have become invasive, exhaust the soil-they’re so hardy they literally survive being mowed down every week as long as their roots are fine-still my fav tree-and today I decided to transplant a sapling to start a bonsai tree but wanted to first see if they’re suitable for that-so thanks :)

I planted 20+ thornless honey locust seeds this season; first time experimenting with the species and so far great germination rate and fast growers.
