Hi, have you tried Black Madeira Large(BML)?..in my country i only came across this variety of black madeira. Im not sure if its the same family variety...if you can share some info on this.

Long live the king! My UCD ripens "differently" than my KK. It is also much later like yours. Both may be related to it not being as vigorous as KK. If you haven't tried making jam with it yet, do it! The higher sugar content makes an amazing jam!

Hello, I bought a fig grown in Kosova that has that distinct muscadine taste. I was wondering what variety it was or whether it was some kind of hybrid. It also has the same color as the grape. Could this be the Black Madeira?

The real black Madeira in my island 🏝 Porto santo island 🏝 close Madeira island we say Black fig with honey from late that fig is small fattened shape its a fig tree very different they produce good figs better abandoned . I live in Porto santo island Portugal 🇵🇹 produce end September the colour is between grey and black with a points white

@@RossRaddi what date approx. In December . Early Dec. .being a newbie o buying cutting I dont want to blow all my money on one sale I don't know how long the cutting season last . It's being a guessing game as far as scheduling my buying. I have been waiting in with anxiety for for the Lancaster fig nursey to issue a list of mail order cutting listings due ut the week of November 10 hopefully I'm trying to learn the varieties growing and fruit development characteristic in a crash course . Taste plays second fiddle. The ultimate is Black Maderia but there are plants of near rivals. There is a Black Mederia 29" long up for sale till Wednesday possible 4 cutting worth. Very appealing for $ 120 . Maybe to$160 . Per your explanation in this video about other Black Mederias maybe the non kks would be a better choice.
