The pigeon was already in the basket at first. This is how he did it: He took pigeon from basket by putting cloth above it (0:30), now he took it out by his left hand and changed pigeon from left to right hand (0:36). He hid it in between his legs using his right hand (0:42), and removed empty cloth (0:52). Now he shows empty baskets (0:56). He puts the cloth on basket again (1:12) and took the pigeon out from between his legs by his right hand and put it in his left hand (1:27). Here everybody thought the pigeon was not in between his hands but it was inside the cloth.He showed empty basket again (1:51). He intentionally moved his left leg so that they may not see pigeon moving inside cloth.He puts the cloth back on empty basket, this time he lifts the basket from left hand slides pigeon inside it (2:26). He lifts it again to see and confirm if it is inside gone or not (2:42). Now he removes cloth and lifts basket to show pigeon (2:55) and everybody is amazed. While he was showing the pigeon, he puts another pigeon inside the basket so that everybody attention is on the pigeon not on the one he is hiding inside (2:58). Now he quickly puts the old pigeon back inside basket holding the new pigeon with his hand inside the basket (3:05). Now he opens the basket shows two pigeons (3:30). Now the question is where did he get the other pigeon? huh, he already hid it in his pocket.

He put two piegons at the same time in basket, he caught 1 piegon by his fingers when he removed top of basket and shows you 1 piegon at ground and, see how carefully he was holding the top of basket. That's all. And if you are wondering where did piegon came from. Its in shovel. Shovel has secret pockets inside it.

the trick is the man had the both pigeons in the black bag if u don't believe watch the bag shaking in 1.13 timing of the video then he wrapped his left hand into the cloth and kept on the black bag so he can catch both the pigeons after that he tried to take the attention of the people with his right hand and without removing his left hands from the cloth he put's it on the basket because if he don't, he would be caught catching both pigeons after that he removed the cloth from the basket catching one pigeon from the right hand and releasing one and after that he kept the basket again on the pigeon and left the other pigeon
