I was a big fan of Joyner, I still love pun big L, use to fuck with Canibus ( Cam murdered him on the track Thanos) Eminem was my fav rapper of all time til I heard Lupe lyricism and once I matured I noticed a difference to where em shit didn't resonate anymore. Black thought is scratching at the door but it's still levels to this shit. Im a huge fan of pun but he mainly spits multis which make his bars sound better than they are. Once I heard cam for the first time in 2018 he immediately stopped me in my tracks like nah this ain't normal lol. The only lyricist that I have on his level is Aesop Rock and I'm on the edge with Lupe but like you said I just think Cam is unlike anything I've ever witnessed in hip-hop. The crazy part is we have NOT seen his best. Scary times !

Let us remember and appreciate the fact that these heads were cooking up otherworldly rhymes in the 90s when complex bars were very few and far between. I agree he murked Bis' on that track they did together *(Canibus ain't been the same since he lost the Dizaster battle in such embarrassing fashion)* but I don't know if I've heard anything yet that's outshined the hardest tracks off that 2000 B. C. album, Shady's first album-- Infinite, Puns Capital Punishment, or L's The Big Picture... I can almost guarantee Bolic' could trade bars him-- go listen to some of his older shit. Dude is a disgusting lyricist. As for AOTP-- Apathy and Esoteric are probably the only members who would give him a run for his money. Them white buls got heavy bars. Black Thought is more of a lyrical technician and Batta is more of a lyrical tactician so that would be tough to judge. I believe he'd easily outshine Joyner and Emilio though.
