Black Mamba front seat on-ride HD POV Phantasialand

Black Mamba opened in 2006 and year-in year-out it has been voted one of the best B&M (Bolliger & Mabillard) invert coasters, along with Nemesis at Alton Towers, by our members. So don't let the 89 foot drop fool you because about 2/3 of the coaster is below ground and flying through those trenches at 50 mph is beyond thrilling.
Phantasialand is located near Cologne in Brühl, Germany.

That is a super, amazing themed roller coaster! And plus with those sharp turns and tight inversions, this is definitely a must ride for intensity.

This coaster has the best sound effect when you leave the station in the world. The loud ass drums with the unnerving singing just adds so much atmosphere to the already great theming.

Amazing ride. The first drop may not be much, but the tight inversions and sharp turns combined with the feeling you're gonna crash into every second wall more than make up for that.

I did ride the Maba for the first time 2 days after it opened. Waiting-Time: 3+ hours. The Second time was 10 years later. 10 Minutes. Yet: 100% worth the ride, even with 1 hour waiting time :D Phantasialand is expanding with new and exciting rides, wich leaves free places on "old" rides a plenty. Take them while they're hot! Black Mamba is AWESOME! :D

oh well, this was in 2013, when the coaster still ran smoothly. I rode it last week and I was disappointed about how rough the ride has gotten

I've always thought that for a B&M, Black Mamba is pretty forceful. Especially that last turn pulls what feels like 3.5-4Gs.

Well the first drop on Nemesis at Alton Towers is very short only about 20-30 feet if not shorter yet packs a punch!

I've never been on an upside down ride before and I really want to go on black mamba (im going this week) I need tips! Can you tell you are upside down? Is there any need to be so scared?! I'm scared I'm going to fall out 😂😂

It depends on the coaster and the person riding it but usually you don't really feel like you're going upside down because you're going too fast to even think about it anymore. Like most people tend to say, rollercoaster with deep drops are usually scarier. I've heard Black Mamba is an intense but really fun ride so I wouldn't skip it if I were you ;)

CoasterGlitch the park is in germany and germany is known for his good theming in amusement parks...I mean in the us there is just the station themed and the "streets" in the park
