The vibe I got from their interviews was that their relationship was purely a proffessional one, with Greep stating in one interview that he was jealous about how Black Country, New Road are all friends and hang out outside of shows, so idk. I hope that now they've gone seperate they'll be able to expand their sounds in a way that they couldn't when compromising with a band

Geordie, and all of the members, from what I know, does not see Black Midi as something they could just come back to, which is something the record label seems to insinuate and want people to believe. Morgan and Geordie, at least, are still collaborating.

People don't talk about this a lot, I haven't even listened to it personally but they released an album on Bandcamp during 2020 which they call an audiobook, besides that however, it is sad to see them go even if it's indefinite, let's hope they do come back soon even if it's something like 3 or 4 years from now, probably too soon but idk

I'm so glad for that random John L recommendation on KZbin years ago shook me to my absolute core! What an incredible band at the very least to end this journey with Hellfire. Greep is such a powerhouse as a solo musician. Cameron is finding his own footing and I REALLY hope Morgan can find his own stuff to do. I feel like his presence as a musician is frustratingly low key for his ability. He worked with Greep on The New Sound and I SERIOUSLY hope Morgan continues to work with Greep because their styles are wonderful together.

I'm lucky I got to catch them in Cleveland last year. I came really close not going to that show because of work but I said fuck it and went. Definitely don't regret it now lmao. Was really hoping to see bm live again because that show was on of my favorites. regardless black midi will go down as one of the greats.
