Black Mountain 9/2019 Day 2 Part 4 (Crawford's Cry)

Crawford's Cry was one we had never done before. We walked it on day 1 and wanted to save it for later on in the trip. It was quite the challenge and a lot of fun. It was a good trail to finish out a great day of riding.

I have found it to be less confusing when giving directions to a driver if you say “driver” for left and “passenger” for right when ground guiding....just my 2 cents. Thanks for the great vids!

Tim Thanks for watching! I’ll let Ryan go into more details with this but I believe Benjamin and myself were using GoPro Hero5’s and Ryan was using a GoPro Hero7. As you can probably tell in the video the 7 has a much better picture quality than the 5.

Jeremy summed it up well. Chris also uses a gopro hero 7. Brad, Jeremy, Benjamin and Sonny all use 5's.

@@SouthernLandRiders Very Good, I actually just ordered a GoPro hero7 black hopefully it will perform better than some of the reviews I been reading, but You can drive Yourself crazy reading reviews, I know all of them have short batt. Life I can deal with that but many complaints of overheating and also locking up, I am hopeful that a lot of that is just Pilot error,,, Thanks Guys Great Job, Keep Your Wheels down, Thanks,,,,

@@timfarmer3833 The 7 is a great camera. I would not worry much about the reviews. It had a good bit of issues the first 3 or 4 months but they have fixed just about everything with the firmware updates. It is rock solid now. Now it is is time to go out there and make some killer vids!

You guys need to use tree saver straps. The failure to do this is killing the trees on the side of the trails and then you won’t have anything to winch from.

Some sketchy stuff...I would of had my the winch out prob on that trouble spot when he was on 3 wheels. Lol nonetheless good driving Ryan!

Ryan, what trails do u and SLR recommend in the WV area? Looking to have a week trip in April next year. Our group likes technical stuff, we ride Windrock a lot.

I have never been anywhere in WV. Some of the other guys in the group have. From what I hear the only trails that are difficult are the outlaw trails. Most of the main Hatefield stuff is like G roads.
