My little tackle boxie is packed for my first fishing trip on Friday. Vintage fishing! I don't think anything I will be using apart from the line will be younger than 30 years old :) Gave the reels a good oiling and grease and just waiting for payday tomorrow to go buy the fishing line. I'm thinking of taking the old Silstar CX80, that thing is a beast and can take up to 0.8mm line. think I will run the lower spec of maybe 0.5 or 0.55mm so I don't have to use a lot of line. Also have an old Pen 500, but that thing is almost too nice to take out, same with my Alvey 500c, I might take the Penn 85 as a compromise for a backup reel.

Thanks so much, I don;t care if I just get a few klipvisse. I just wound new line on one reel, still got 300m to wind on the Policansky Monitor though :)@@TheFishingMob
