WARNING There is a curious item called the Auspicious Lantern that requires you to defeat 9 Lantern Wardens. They are located in the Lower Pagoda and Upper Pagoda of the Pagoda Realm. If Captain Wise-Voice is defeated, all remaining Lantern Wardens will disappear.

@@Z06Boss23use spellbinder build and you will cook Jin Tiger. He is easy. I killed him with 3 heavy attacks. Obviously if you fight him the regular way he is probably top 3 hardest boss in the game.

I spoke to the rat captain in chapter 2 first because I explored everything and saw him dead in the cage in chapter 3 but I still got his transformation. How does it affect my progress? It's weird that it is considered a miss when as a player you'll have this mindset to explore everything in each chapter but in this case you need to explore chapter 3 first then go back to chapter 2? Like wtf man 😅

Doesnt affect your progress so much at all from my guess, its just you dont get to fight him cause ol dude killed him. So you get his transformation for free instead. Not a huge loss.

You only get to miss the fight. Personally I think it should be the other way round. 1) If you talk to NPC in house you get the fight him. 2) If you don't talk to him by the time you get to pagoda, the prince kills him in cell.

@@elateddrone Search up «How to backup wukong saves» then you just follow the steps, really easy, just copy the backup files that you want into your main save folder and then you’re good. Just make sure to save your main save beforehand so that you don’t lose that file.

Idk if I'm doing something wrong but the rat captain doesn't spawn for me. I didn't talk to the guys hiding in the house until way after I finished the 4 spirits and the one guy just keeps telling the other to be patient, he never says anything about the new west so the boss never spawns when I go to its location.

I went back to this place after completing Chapter 3, doesn't look like the Apramana Bat appeared, but instead I unlocked "Turtle General" for Characters in the Journal, but I have the spirit after Chapter 3

I say it's missable when the boar Shu Bajie leaves your side with onscreen text, but I will explain again here. When the boar, Shu Bajie leaves your side, the Apramana Bat disappears.

If the npc hiding in the house is not there after you deliver all 4 spirits and complete the rat prince pagoda quest, you spoke to him before and locked yourself out of the quest

He was dead in the cell on my play through. Maybe you didn’t exhaust all of the dialogue? Kinda stinks to be punished for exploring, although he doesn’t look like he was much of a boss. I just don’t like having “??” In the journal thing, and I know his and the first bat boss are the only two I missed in the chapter.

Try speaking to the NPC again on step 2, spam it for about 10 seconds

All NPC quests have dialogue between steps, you ALWAYS need to exhaust all there dialogue for it to trigger to the next step of the quest. Basically talk to them over and over until they repeat there sentences to exhaust all dialogue.

I have a question regarding the Rat Captain: I had talked to the NPC hiding in the house back in Chapter 2, so I won't get to fight the Rat Captain in Chapter 3. Would this affect my playthrough if I'm pursuing the platinum trophy?

it shouldn't affect your playthrough, because you get to fight 2 rat captains (non-bosses) during chapter 2 near the house with the npc, so a portrait gets logged. The transformation spell can be picked up from either path of the quest, so your covered.
