This is the only one I have left and it’s such a pain in the ass. So stupid to put a soak as a random drop from picking up an ingredient instead of killing an enemy.

My advice for people struggling with soaks/seeds: after you finish farming a good location for a lot of soaks, exit to title screen and manually forward your PC time by 1 hour into the future, then log back in and they will respawn. Keep doing until you get the soak, good luck on 100%!

You can actually just teleport to a different chapter, forward by 30 min, then travel back to any other chapter and time will have moved forward!

If you have endgame gear use fully upgraded pilgrim set with the supreme gourd for 10 uses, speed drink (bluebridge romance) with undying vine soak and bee mountain stone soak. I used this build for ng+ and it feels like speedrunning and it's the best build for farming.

You can also find one, nearby a meditation point, with the chinese enemies don´t know only anymore which one exactly it was. Finally I got it at Sandgate Pass after collecting 250 of Licorice.

This and the arms venom diaost drop are the last things I need for my plat trophy. Been farming for 2 days now. Picked up well over 400 of these damn things and still haven’t gotten it. Very frustrating that they made it this way. And the arms off venom diaost are annoying as well. You have to knock the arms off his back in the first fight by hitting him in his back.

Just for your information, you dont necessarily need to farm these in Chapter 2. I got the Goat Skull Soak drop in Chapter 4. It's bound to the Licorice plant in any area.

@@marcosantucci6404 Well I have found them throughout chapter 4. On my NG+ I still had to collect, do quests, farm gear etc so I just played until I reached chapter 6 and got the last armor set there for the achievement. I know the starting area of Chapter 4 has a decent amount. And if you cleared the act already the enemies will be gone, so you can add that to your farm list I suppose.

@@HMG179 if you have PSN you could also turn off autosave and make a backup save. Just redownload it really quick at the end of every run. Both methods work at the end of the day though.

I know they respawn when you first go to a new chapter and you have to fast travel between chapters after a time period. Wasn’t there after like 20 minutes so I tried an hour and they were there. That’s good to know though, I appreciate the info!

@@moha4917 you can keep farming the same spot or do it later, it’s up to you. You’ll run into licorice all through the game, this is just a good place to farm them. If it were me, I’d come back periodically and grab these ones as I played! 👍🏻

@@hamiddin8670 there is a curio that increases item drops from enemy, but I don’t believe it works for anything that doesn’t drop from an enemy. It’s called the golden carp curio. There’s also a helmet that does the same thing too called Skull of Turtle Treasure Helmet.

Same for the other soaks drink and seeds.i had equiped the 2gold carpets and treasures turtle mask to massively increase the loot drip chance. But still was time consuming...

this is why i hate this game sometimes lol. so much of it is fun and unique and the adventure and creative aspects are literally perfect, and then theres stuff like randomly a 1/100 chance to get these random seeds you need for achievements.. and this type of stuff is littered throughout the game which makes me so sad because the game is literally so good in so many aspects..

@@mysteryneophyte I’ve been farming the Jade Lotus a lot and haven’t gotten the Soak that drops so I feel you. Having played and achieved platinum for every soulsborne game there is, I’m kind of used to it. I’d suggest just playing and doing it periodically as you play, then if you don’t get it by end game really buckle down and go ham on it. Good luck too!

@@leagueofgamerhighlights2338 they’re really not that bad to be honest. If you pick up all the items as you play the game through, you’ll have 95% of the stuff you need. I only had to farm like 5 or 6 things and only had a problem with 1 of them where it took me 5 or 6 hours to get the tiger tendon belt curios. DS3 is definitely more time consuming. Even DS2 was more time consuming for me because of those sunlight medals.

@@Ghost-mr6pz it’s a random drop. Many people have to farm them over and over and eventually they get it. After 30 min the plants will respawn after fast traveling between chapters. Just stay at it, you’ll get it! 💪🏼
