Poison and fire areas are never fun. But i love the challenge. I’m loving the environment change too, spent about 3-4 afternoons in chap 1 figuring the game out. About 2 afternoons in chap 2. Chap 3 : was great, bosses all felt about right by the time I’d grinded up some levels. The levels are so fast in 4 that it’s getting less challenging. But still hard enough. I love these videos. I could not find everything without your guides. Thank you! Great content!

Tip: towards the end of the video, in the Valley of Blooms. The Tree that drops the “undying vine soak” also has a high chance of dropping Mind Cores. I don’t know if I’m just lucky but out of 6 times I got 4 Mind Cores so far!

Warning : the 4th purple seal/sigil./talisman. There is a 'Crane Immortal' right after the fight with the Supreme Inspector. if you have killed the final boss aka "hundred eyes daoist" before this , the crane immortal will not appear. and you will not get credit for the Portraits. A heads-up on the "Horse Guai" aka Ma Tianba. in Chp 5. it a missable quest, if a certain boss is killed. The " Horse Guai" must have engaged dialog through chp 1,2,3 and 4.

This segment of the ending cutscene from Black Myth: Wukong presents a tragic and complex love story involving Tian Peng (later known as Zhu Bajie) and the celestial figures in his past. Unlike traditional depictions, in this retelling, Tian Peng admires the Taiyin Star Lord (not the moon goddess Chang’e). Along his journey, he encounters a celestial maiden, one of the Taiyin Star Lord’s attendants, who holds the title "Chang’e" (since all of her attendants bear this title as an official rank, rather than as an individual name). It is this Chang’e who falls in love with Tian Peng. Tian Peng's fate takes a sharp turn when he inadvertently stumbles upon a secret meeting between the Jade Emperor and the Taiyin Star Lord. Fearing that his reputation might be tarnished by this discovery, the Jade Emperor punishes Tian Peng by banishing him to the mortal world, where he is transformed into a pig demon. The Chang’e attendant, unable to forget Tian Peng, sacrifices her immortality and descends to the mortal world, taking the form of a spider demon. She chooses this fate in order to be near him, knowing that it will lead to her eventual death. When Zhu Bajie, now in his pig demon form, arrives at Gao Village, he mistakes a mortal woman named Gao Cuilan for his lost love, the Chang’e he remembers. She immediately recognizes Bajie despite his pig-headed form. The two fall in love once again, and she gives birth to his daughter. However, due to her absorbing one of Bajie’s six roots (spiritual senses), her fate is sealed, and she knows that her death is inevitable. She chooses to stay with him until the end, waiting in the cave, hoping to show him their daughter. Before her death, the Spider Demon poignantly remarks, “You’re still as foolish as before.” This statement refers not only to Bajie’s earlier mistake in confusing Gao Cuilan with her, but also to his reluctance to acknowledge their daughter and their love out of fear of retribution from the Heavenly Court. The Spider Demon understands that Bajie’s denial is his way of protecting them from the inevitable consequences of divine punishment. Though Bajie is harsh towards her in their final moments, both he and the Spider Demon understand the emotional undercurrents beneath their words. Bajie knows that acknowledging his love for her would bring ruin upon them, and his cold words are an attempt to sever ties for their safety. Nevertheless, the Spider Demon knows that Bajie still cares for her and their daughter, and she accepts her fate. I beat Yellow Long with a Cloud Step Unveil attack build, piled on some Pluck of Many to quickly reduce health. It's literally the same fight as the last one. Beat Scorpion Lord with the same build. Set the Relic to massively reduce cooldown on Unveil. Use Pluck of Many from Cloud Step and join in on the fun, then use Unveil for the rest of the fight. I did it my first try with Lord. Now I'm just running a hybrid build so I can switch between Spell Bind and Cloud Step for the bosses where the other strategy doesn't work.

Another good tips is when ever you defeat a boss that drops its spirit use all of your gourd if using jade essence drink to replenish mana and gourd at the same time if you’re not around a shrine

The wind tamer knocks yellow loong out of his second phase. Right when he’s done charging just pop it and he goes back to normal. Also, sprinting left or right to avoid his dash attack works with any armor set.

18:20 Yellow Loong: When he charges up mid air, just use Rock Solid, if parry successful, it will cancel all of his high speed and high damage combos. Then you just fight him on ground like normal

I loved the Yellow Loong fight, my strategy was use the spear from the third chapter and spam thrust stance dodges since they have the combo of long range stabs to interrupt and follow that with whirling thrusts you get roughly 2K-3K damage in one go. And I just kept doing that every time. I only died a lot because I would mistime the dodges for his big slashes when he flew

In the opening area, do all the exploring you can before moving on. There's a chest that has a knot of voidness and some other materials. I got a septenary heartfire pill from that same chest. Not sure if that's a guaranteed drop or not, but it was new to my inventory so it was my first one. Not to mention, there's TONS of will to absorb all around the area.

At 21:25 where you get that Mind Core and all those useless flying bugs attack you, you can use Wind Tamer and insta kill them... worked for me at least, idk if level has anything to do with it, i was level 75 or so there

Switching to that Spell binder build has made it pretty easy. Even though i was also loving fully upgraded pluck of many and immobolized. But spell binder takes it another level. Beat last boss chapter 3 on 2nd try and firs boss chapter 1 in first try. Thanks for this videos. I am torn from going in blind but also hate when I leave a bunch of stuff and even if Im looking around good it seems Im always missing stuff you find.

I was able to easily knock off all 4 arms on my first try. I was a little anxious going into it cause i don't really know of a way to create a separate save file, but then I realized I could just let him kill me if necessary. But I didn't need to. I just used staff spin from behind him. I knocked two arms off one at a time and then the other two came off simultaneously. I never really use staff spin for anything, but someone recommended it for that boss fight and it worked like a charm. Actually did pretty decent damage with spell binder active, too.

Tip for beating Scorpion Lord: After you engage him the first time you don’t deal with the cutscene. So I walk to the edge of the clearing and pop 4 tinctures: Enhanced Tiger Subduing Pellets Amplification Pellets Evil Repelling Medicament Longevity Decoction (optional) Immediately pop Pluck of Many Feathers and charge my heavy attack. Run into the clearing and let him attack and land the 3 focus charged attack. Immediately immobilize him. 3 quick attacks into a (maximum level) Wandering Wight Spirit attack. Charge up one more attack and he died. Took 11 seconds to kill him. I re-sparked to focus entirely on: Maximum Pluck of Many Feathers Maximum Immobilize Maximum stat buffs (crit, attack, defense primarily.) Maximum charged attack & heavy attack damage/interruption/knock back mitigation. Took me about 15-20 tries to get annoyed enough to re-spark lol.

For the Scorpionlord Boss fight, if you use the house as a barrier & charge your Focus heavy attack, he'll whiff a lot of his attacks, leaving him open for a counter. I rinsed & repeated to beat him fairly easily.

Yellow Long is taking 1/3 hp pr hit and that when I'm using 40 shock resist. His pattern is not too complicated, bit his dmg is kinda upscaled. Trying it with the Spell Bind active :P You having that set makes it skipable, but without its a tough one! Id go as far as say it is poorly designed for crazy short windows to do anything but dodge :S And then at times when you know the pattern he does his "ignite the lightning" just because youre not allowed to know him :P I got him using thrust stance for the first 2/3 and then smash for the last bit. 24 kills for tiger tendon belt to drop. 22 kills for undying vine to drop. Thanks for another lovely guide :)

A tip for the venomous armguards, if you wanna play it safe just immobilize the boss and use your staff spin on his back until you get an arm off. Then just back off wait for your immobilize to come back and repeat the process!!

In NG+, with this build, I killed Yellow Loong in one try in 30secs. Wear Wukong armor and staff. Have mind relic with duplicates doing the same heavy attack as you. Maxed mobile staff spin tree. Put all points in attack, crit hit, crit damage, def and stamina. When the fight starts, cloud step aside, cast plantain fan, cast plug of many (maxed tree talent). Attack one move with cloud step. Then Jinshi spirit slam. Then do the mobile staff spin to quickly build up focus point to 4. Hit the heavy attack and all your clones will also hit very hard like your 4 points heavy attack. The game becoming much easier in NG+ and crazy hard with the initial game run without Wukong mind relic (duplicate clone heavy attack) and the plantain fan.

Wear set to enhance duplicates. Scorpion boss: blast the wind tamer bell, send out plug of many, immobilized (make sure it is maxed out as your clone can help you cast short immobilize too, charge attack, then spam light with heavy finisher. When he break from stunned, use the bat spirit to freeze him and whack some combo. Then use chief monkey and whack some attack until you can use its freeze special move. Continue whacking it. Dodge and cloud step and charge heavy attack in cloud step. Back away and use gourd and soaks with healing with mana restore so you can immobilize again. Mana replenish is key. The duplicates are strong and can help you beat it really quick. When the boss on red health, it stacker quickly and critical hits lands more. I was able to kill him in less than 5 mins into the fight.

Thank you for the guide. I think because we pick up everything and you get special items every boss is just easier and easier I remember the first boss in chapter 3 the ice flying dragon on the lake I died 40 times Now the last final boss in chapter 4 I killed in the 2. Time it was not even hard But I could miss 80% of these items without you
