The chest part threw me off completely lol The theory is that Her and a One of monkeys before us (previous "Destined One") fell in love and got married and the chests are her dowry. She is also the only sister who wears her hair up signifying that she's committed to someone. The tears because the monkey before us didn't make it. Also the reason why she's the only one helping us because all the destined ones look the similar but don't have any memory of the previous ones.

Pro Tip on using Yin Tiger as a Transformation to its fullest potential: Equipment/Skills - Curios for might prolonging and buildup - Points in Transformation tree towards might buildup, maximum, and recovery after detransformation (and any extra might based upgrades if you have the points) - Non-Pure armor set for might recovery outside of transformation As Yin Tiger - Try transforming when the enemy is going into a long/high damage combo - Immediately hold the block stance to soak up all the dmg - Soaking dmg with block stance builds the Yin Tiger focus gauge (shown as his sword edge on the icon) - Yin Tiger focus gauge has 2 states, yellow and red - Once full red gauge, activate his spell to go into the wind mode - Go ham with crazy mobility and dmg - If you can't reach full red before detransforming, finish with his heavy attack charge and try to detransform manually - the equipment and skillls above will hopefully keep you in the transformed state long enough to both reach wind mode and have some time for dps in that mode (it's hard to get there and do dps without the upgrades tbh) - the upgrades for might recovery will help get you back into transformation way faster to compensate for not having points in other wukong abilities There are other areas that can be even further fine-tuned like some Spirits that help with might, etc so feel free to experiment with what you have.
