The small pig that appears is Zhu Baijie or "Pigsy," he is one of the four disciples that was assigned to help SanZang/Tripitaka on the Journey to the West along with Wukong. His weapon is the rake so JTTW fans would immediately know who that is just from seeing the rake. Wukong actually mentioned Baijie in the intro of the game when he was fighting Erlang (3rd eye guy). He said to Erlang "other than that *pig,* youre the one who talks the highest tale" or something. Baijie is known to be a bit arrogant, talks a lot, and tends to make up stuff. In all other iterations of Baijie, as far as I remember, he isnt that small. He's usually depicted as tall as human but just a pig, so it was fun seeing the game's version of him.

Yeah, Zhu is usually depicted throughout the centuries of media as the breed of pig that is mostly hairless, like the Yorkshire pig we usually see at farms (for slaughter). Here in the game he looks more like a little hairy boar with tusks, which I think in the novel is what he looks like when he turns into a kaiju monster boar/warthog like in the game. I think in the novel, in his normal pig form, Zhu is dark & normally huge & taller than a man, like Baloo the Bear, but instead they made him cute & 3-foot tall here in the game. 08/29/24

Yo Jett there are also some wukong movies that are worth checking out free on KZbin. Called Journey to the west 1 and 2, monkey king 1 shows u the origin of wukong and kinda gets in depth too, then there’s 2 and 3, and the most crispiest movie out of them imo is immortal demon slayer. You do have to watch with subtitles tho lol, the movies can seem real low budget at times, the cgi gets a little wacky but you’ll grow to ignore it for the sake of the story of wukong. Bc there are truly some wholesome and badass moments in each of them, and each movie differently showcases the power of wukong. And the choreography gets insane when shit hits the fan

About why he's named Non-White: Yellow Brow has always been at odds with Jinchanzi. For those feeling upset and is somewhat shaming the game because they say 'monkey this and monkey that', it's a WRONG assumption. The creators and the mythology of the tale of Wukong has NOTHING to do with discriminating a race. It's this society who divides people by putting them in boxes. The tale of this mythology, the gods who wants Wukong restrained is simply "bashing" the character Wukong because the zodiac signs in eastern culture, monkey is not particularly a strong and mighty zodiac compared to let's say a tiger, ox or dragon. Their meaning when they say: 'just a mere monkey'; because monkeys symbolizes a trickster, yet, this monkey Wukong is trying to "threaten us" or wants to disrupt the hierarchy of the gods who they think is superior to other life forms/zodiac signs, which is also wrong but it still doesn't have anything to do with discriminating like in this modern day. So please, keep races and discrimination out of the meaning of the game and its mythology.

”I better get a parry from him” you have one its called rock solid, theres an armour you can unlock in chapter 3 that lowers the cooldown like a lot and also making ur next attack after use do more damage turning rock solid into a parry, pushing chapter 6 soon, and im still using it

Amazing episode man! I just want to say you missed a great fight on the turtle on the right side of the rest point i hope you go back i think you will like it! I had the same reaction to that girl she looked good😂🔥 she was one of my fav fights of this game so far perfect for a anime battle in that one💯 And for me that captain wise voice was one of the worst bosses just the same thing you had to do and you couldn't really mix it up with fighting glad it was over haha The rage was real in this one the smash on the table😂😂😂 Yellow Brow got me feeling the same way tho at one point but the fights with the maca chief were fire all the bosses with swords are amazing so far The animations for all the chapters are so unique and so well made i liked them so much too they did a phenomenal job!🙏🙌🙌 Can't wait for the next one awesome work Jett!❤💜
