I just discovered Unified Mind too after starting NG+. This is insane! I'm level 210 - just beat the game the first time round with the secret ending after beating Erlang. I use the Cloud Step and charged smash attack after running too. Combined with the Pluck of Many and Unified Mind, it does some seriously crazy damage!

@@keeoone87 Yeah I like that weapon. I just wish it had a different unique effect. Most of the weapons proc off heavy attacks. I wished the devs had a deeper vision on buffs and procs. Most builds seem to lean towards heavies.

i have this build as well and did one shot majority of the NG+. but it took out the fun, its good for one playthrough.

@@barekuckles8391 I agree. I only played with it for so far. It’s fun at first because you see big damage and you’re like “Mom get the camera!” But then you become bored because the challenge that drove you in the first place is lost.

This only works in NG+. Since you can only get your clones to sync with you after you beat the game

@@robinktoussaint Yes, this build is better in NG+ after the secret ending. You can still do massive damage in the base game without the clones. I was able to oneshot or two-shot most bosses without clones base game.

If I am not mistaken, if you use the pill that resets yuor timers and immediately use pluck of many again, you have 2x the clones out - saw video of a guy doing that, so I need to try it. If so, that damage is insane. The only thing is, I don't know if it works on the last stage of the broken shell fight.

@@michaelbender8094 Really up to you. Oneshot is fun but it can become boring eventually. I like the Thunder build much better. There is a lot more depth to it which should give players like you and I more joy.

For the hundred eyed daoist.... his hit box is 20ft in the air and you can't hit him in face to face, you have to be on his side. I have yet to beat this boss because of that. I appreciate the build but it doesn't matter what the build is if you can't hit the stupid boss. Thank you for the guide.

If you have not realized it yet, the needle if you use it right when he goes into his stage 2 takes him out of fit and makes it far easier.

@@mrundue3965 So you need to beat the game with secret ending to unlock the attack. If you haven’t done that yet you can still destroy boss health bars with couldstep and heavy attacks. It will be more of a 2 shot build without the Pluck of many following heavy attacks.

With that said, you should always be using Pluck of Many since they do great damage and always keep the boss’ attention while you charge another heavy attack.

How are you going back into the beginning of the game with end game gear?

@@alexz621 this is done by beating the game and opting to do it over again in NG+. Once you beat the game it will give you the option to start a new journey. Hope this helps.

@@andrewmarceau422 it should be the same. Cloud step first then start charging and you can run with it. I’m sure you have already tried that. This game has bugs. Maybe restart the game and see if that fixes it

you need the cloud step upgrade that lets you hit an enemy with a heavy attack while in cloud step

The pilgrims armor sprint buff wears off before you can execute a fully charged heavy afaik

@@Khaathus Try comparing the damage, I get the exact same numbers on hit. The atk stat changes in the menu before that, so I assumes the buff fades too fast for the smash stance to do it's three airtime pirouettes.

Yes, if you run for the full 10 seconds - but if you count out 8 seconds and start the attack, it should work, just not AS much attack. You'd have to have robotically perfect timing to consistently get the full 100% attack boost. But, 80% is good enough. If you have 230 attack with daoist out, run 8 seconds, that's an 80% boost, 414 attack - which is still going to do quite a lot. I just wish I could pull it off on the final stage of the broken shell fight, which for ME was the hardest in the game.

Not with the Unified Mind relic, which you will only get after beating the game with the secret ending.

@@ricflair4052 No, just like GuardianLion said you cannot benefit from the clones as much in the first playthrough. With that said you can change out the clones for Spellbinder and hit just as hard. Obviously you will not be able to use spells, but it will add damage to your heavy attack build. My demon video shows how to stack mana to make a spellbinder build work.

@@brandonmcclelland4359 Yeah, that is a dangerous boss but you should be able to manipulate its movements by using cloud step and clones. It’s gonna be hard to get the full buffs off. I would bait a couple of it attacks out then get some distance before dropping the Gore Eyed Daoist. Everything else should be easier after the since the staff stays up for a long time.
