Is this the only update that makes the game run at 120 fps now,or are there any other improvements,because there is an update for PS5 of almost 25 GB. It's not just the fps that's higher, is it? Because almost 25 GB is too much just for 120 fps, maybe they added better sound for PS5, 3D, haptic feedback and adaptive trigger, is that now available for PS4 or is it just the fps higher?

120 Hz is not same as 120 fps ! There is a confusion with refresh rate of the screen and the frame sended by the console. It is obvious in the video, with the 60 Hz mode (120 Hz OFF on console) and the game in fidelity mode... TV shows 60 Hz but the console send only 30 FPS...

nope, I can confirm it’s on par with the performance mode fps and I’m only using 4K 60hz tv so you don’t need 120hz

@ nah, performance mode in this game uses frame generation. So it‘s actually fake 60fps. That‘s why it seems the same. 120 Hz has half the input lag of 60 hz.

@@javierf6162thats because the balanced mode without a 120hz display has an uncapped frame rate sonit can go above 40 (45-47 max really), its locked at 40fps with a 120hz display active. And also true that its frame generation on performance mode. So your actually at 30hz upped to look like 60 fps. So playing at 120hz balanced mode locked at 40 fps, internally its still 120hz compared to 30hz in performance mode, so input lag and ghosting with motion will be significantly better (ghosting basically nonexistent)

I believe they are being diligent in showing all applicable correct graphics settings in system settings and again in the game settings menu making sure the audience apply the same for this specific example.

I believe this is. The 120 hz apparently is not a toggle. It's just enabled in performance and balance. I thought i did not have the patch because I was looking for a toggle.
