Let me explain the meaning of ending animation as my understanding. Bull demon king has a tragic life made by many his wrong decisions. In early of the novel, Journey to the West. Bull demon king and Wukong, 2 strongest demon king were sworn brothers,.And, when Wukong wanted to take rebellion against heaven, Bull demon king actively supported him to fight against celestial court, but they were totally defeated. While Wukong was pressed under 5 fingers mountain for 500 years, Celestials had another plan for Bull demon king by forcing his wife to drink water in the river that makes women pregnant. Thus, Red kid was born but not as their will, so Bull demon king mentally collapsed and left his family to have another one with a Fox Yaoquai and had a little daughter as the video game. In the middle of the novel, Red kid was a difficult challenge that almost took Wukong's life, but he was defeated and served Lady Buddha. This made both Bull demon King and his wife, Iron fan lady felt angry, so they refused to lend the iron fan which can turn off flames on HuoYan mountain. Because Bull demon King is very strong, even may be stronger than Wukong, so this monkey ask celestial court for help to pass through that mountain. Bull demon king was defeated and had to serve the celestial court, that Wukon refuse after Journey to the West. After Journey to the West or in the beginning of the game, Wukong realized that he would never be freed from controlling of celestial court leading to his second rebellion. Bull demon King chosen to fight at the side of heaven. When Wukon was defeated for the second time, his soul and power were divided into 6 parts, and Bull demon king was asked to keep one, but Wukong did warn him against taking it his last breath due to tragedy he might take after, but Bull demon king still keeps it until this scene. In this scene, Bull demon king has been immobilized and tortured by Red boy for such a long time because Red boy want to take power of Wukong to make him stronger for his revenge. And the next is what we see on screen.

Using see through attacks helps a lot, but really hard to pull. Most heavy attacks and final blows stagger him so time it correctly to stop him from using his most lethal moves. Also equip the fire mantle in his first phase, then wind tamer in his second phase. Thankfully we don't have to star all over again even if we died in his second phase.

It's essentially a short retelling of the basic tragedy of Demon Bull King's life and his brotherhood with Wukong. Wukong and Bull were essentially brothers by choice, and they stormed the Celestial Court, defeating its defenders and gods only for Wukong to be struck down and imprisoned by the Buddha. Wukong would later be freed by Tang Sanzang and with him he'd set out on the Journey to the West, growing and maturing over its course into a true hero and protector, even if at the beck and call of the Celestial Court. The Bull would remain a rebel and eventually he would fight against Wukong as his enemy on that journey, specifically over the Iron Fan of his wife, Princess Iron Fan, with whom he had a son, Red Boy. Eventually he'd also have a daughter with a Fox Spirit concubine. His clash with his old friend ended with his concubine's death and his own defeat and repeated decapitation (which he survived), until he was made to submit before the Celestial Court by being burnt. Wukong would finish his journey and be made into a buddha, wishing for peace for himself and his companions, but the Celestial Court was simply bidding their time to destroy him. And so when they struck against him and Wukong rebelled against them, they turned his old companions against him to defeat him, Demon Bull King being among them, his wife and son used as a leash by the Court. Wukong finally died within his brother's arms, noting the irony that Bull always chose the wrong side in his effort to do what is right, revealing that he never stopped caring about him, asking him to take care of his loved ones and warning him about the relics that would be made of his body parts. And so Demon Bull King ended up the way we see him in the game, a sad and broken old man who killed his brother whom he too loved despite everything, made to keep his dead corpse and his family utterly broken with Red Boy disowning him to follow his own path of vengeance against the Celestial Court, killing himself after being defeated by us.

I have nothing against China but you can't deny the obvious Indic influence in the entire east asia.

I’ve never read Journey to the West so the lore and story is vague to me. Why did the Celestial Court force Princess Iron Fan to drink the waters of Childbearing?
