Every time I played through this, I let Harper live. In my most recent playthrough, I let Farid kill him and oh my God the pain in his face. Leave it to Treyarch to make an animated 3D model look so lifelike

@@SoulSociety- a shot in the armpit is fatal. There are massive blood vessels right in that area. You would 100% bleed out before anyone could help you. Not like in a videogame that matters since characters survive wounds that would be fatal irl all the time, but the game makes it pretty unambiguous that Farid dies.

If you 'prove' your loyalty to Cordis Die, you are escorted back to the USS Obama and Farid is able to save a character.

Either way, Farid WOULD die. If you chose to kill Menendez in "Achille's Veil", Menendez would knock you down and execute you Makarov-style. If you choose to kill Harper in "Achille's Veil", Farid would survive for one more mission, but would take a lethal hit for Karma when that Spanish SEAL (forgot his name) betrayed America. If I was Farid, I would just run as far away as possible from Yemen at the first opportunity and spend the rest of my life raising camels with Reznov in Afghanistan.
