Black Ops 2 Unhandled Exception Error Steam FIXED (NEW)

Hello I grew up playing this game. This was my first cod and now I’m 20. I bought this around 2 years ago on steam for the nostalgia but was never able to get it to launch. I’ve watched so many videos and have been on and off been trying to fix it. This video finally worked for me. Thank you so much God Bless you mr computer man.

Guys when i was watching the video, when he said to close riva tuner that didnt fix it for me, what fixed it for me was changing my audio device so make sure to try other audio outputs like me for example i use sonar for my steelseries headphones but when i stopped using sonar the game works fine.

I spent hours trying to figure out how to fix this. I eventually found out that if I disconnected my bluetooth earbuds, it would launch completely fine

I hear that one issue could arise with having too many friends on steam. There's a limit black ops 2 has where it could only display 75 friends ish before crashing on the campaign leaderboard. I don't want to unfriend people just for Black ops 2, but I believe that's one of the main reasons for the Campaign.

When I verify it says one file failed to validate. I tried everything you said and i tried re installing so I really have no idea what else to do.

RIVA makes this shit problems... try all options..nothing works...then i turn riva off and the game starts !! no error no crash!!!!!!!
