Fantastically clear tutorials, love it! Could you explain how to create curved objects? I was trying to use an arched doorframe but, I can't fill in above it without clipping through it... Also how to make more interesting/ natural terrain, like I'd like to make a cave/tunnel but having it square would be rubbish XD

you can cut objects by ctrl + clicking an object and cut it as much as you want. when your done, press shift and enter and delete the one you want to

I don't know much or the exact reason why your zombie spawns are not working but what I do know is that if you move your spawner out of the zone that it is linked to then it won't work. so just make sure that your spanners are linked to a zone. hopefully that helps.

I'm a little late, but I think I had the same problem. For me it was because I didn't use a _blend or _detail texture. It will say in red under the textures what type it is. Something like _reveal would cause the textured caulk walls to disappear and reappear depending on your position related to the skybox and the edge of the map. So use a different type of texture, it can still be the same design, just a different type. Hopefully, this helped.

Hey Sir. Thanks for the help on some of your videos. I have a question for ya. I'm making a map similar to Fringe. Do you know how they made the outer edges of the map look foggy. Almost as if you can't see through. Yet the inside of the map is clear as can be. I have my own lit fog and tried to play with that and I get it close but I don't think they're using lit fog with base distance and half distance. I tried everything. I also noticed fringe has their own custom FX for they use a custom sand blowing similar to the vista sand and a heat wave effect. But my main concern is how to make fogs outside the map or maybe how you think they did it.

The box works but there are some guns that don't make noise when I shoot. I've noticed they're zombie dlc related weapons. Is it because I don't have the dlc? And is there a way to fix it?

Been hunting for a while for answers with no luck so I guess I'll just ask.. when I put this box in my map it works as intended, but has many guns in it from other dlc maps, which is great, but I do not know how to edit all of that to my liking. Anyway, my real issue is that they have no gun sound. The default guns, as well as the giant ones (such as new mp40) have gun sounds but the others do not. Is this because I have not purchased/downloaded the dlc maps, or am I missing something? Also, does anyone have a reference to a good tutorial on how to customize the guns that spawn in the box?
