Oh my I remember back when Bo3 was the newest cod I saw the campaign mastery calling card, how cool it looked, and how the details to unlock it don't SEEEM hard at first but then you actually start grinding for it and realize how ridiculous it was to get that callingcard. Lowkey miss massive achievement gained gear you could really show the effort you put in.

For anyone going for Immortal Fame, here's a trick i learned: equip the ability that's basically a free revive and when you go down and are revived, go to one of the boxes in a mission that lets you change classes and just choose the same class and you'll be able to be revived again, rinse and repeat.

Neat! I got personal decorator done about 2 or 3 years ago. Bo3 was my favourite game for a while so I also 100% all calling cards in the game (except a few multiplayer dark ops ones, I never had interest in tomohawking and HC-XD or going nuclear in FFA). I felt your pain when you talked about the combat immersion, that was brutal lol. If you think that's bad, having to restart 3 times, I was playing the Nightmares campaign on Realistic a few months ago, and at the end of Sand Castle where you battle the sniper there's a bug that lets you skip the cutscene earlier than intended and it softlocks the game. Between not understanding the bug and other softlock glitches in the mission, I had to beat it about 7 or 8 times. It was truly awful.

@@reka8560 If you're on Xbox, then probably. I might be a bit rusty with the campaign since I haven't played in a while. Only thing I really can't do for you is the combat immersion lol. You'll just have to get a thermal Drakon and get good (and lucky). I know for me it took many 3+ hour sessions of trying before I got it years later

Nacht is nostalgic as hell. It's a legacy map, simple, dark; claustrophobic, scary and full of mystery because the zombies storyline wasn't designed yet. It was reminiscent of survival horror games like FEAR and Half life. I remember playing nacht with friends after school on splitscreen with pizza for hours straight trying to get to a round as high as possible

This really pissed me off during my trophy hunt days, there was a challenge in one of the levels which i vaguely remember was something along the lines of "killing 3 robots with 1 grenade", it was bugged, i grinded everything else including all the weapon kill requirements and could never get the trophy due to that being bugged. I even tried years later cause i remembered and there could be a patch but nope, big shame considering the hours and it defo killed my trophy hunt mood for a good while

As someone who picked up BO3 on steam around 2022 or something, going for 100% was technically impossible since I think 4 of the achievements were for Multiplayer, and given it's now 2023, the Multiplayer portion of the game is infested with cheaters and hackers and such, so it's impossible to actually play the game, if you even managed to find any matches. Therefore, I opted to just use Steam Achievement Manager to give myself the achievements, as I WOULD obtain them legitimately if the MP section of the game was actually playable. The real difficult part of 100%ing this game is the Personal Decorator achievement, and for 2 decorations in particular. One for completing all 16 waves of combat immersion on Realistic, and completing each campaign mission on Veteran without restarting from a checkpoint. Everything else like obtaining all camos, attachments, etc and all accolades are easy enough, that's more of just a test of endurance and not really difficulty. the Realistic combat immersion is the difficult part because it takes even just a single bullet to kill you instantly, and the one mission where you shoot down Taylor's plane thing was hard enough on Hardened, I can't imagine how difficult it'll be for me on Veteran without dying at all. 7:03 also going down with the emergency reserve DOES NOT count as dying. Dying only counts as fully actually dying, as if you didn't have emergency reserve. Though I do recall there's a challenge for not going down either on veteran so idk 13:40 What about "In the Belly of the Beast"? You never covered that one. Nacht is a map I always look back fondly on, not even because I played it, but because I'd watch my older brother and his friends play it. Him and his buddies are where I even drew my interest for zombies from

To keep it simple for the camo part, you don't need to use the War Machine or the Annihilator... it's only for the base weapons that require kills to unlock the camos Also, for immortal fame you don't have to quit the level - as soon as you're using your "quick revive" you can complete the level & it won't count as you dying or resetting from a checkpoint (unless you suicide via rocket or grenade or if you friendly fire your teammates)

Beating the campaign on hardened/veteran/realistic has been the most obnoxious thing so far. Not because it's challenging (especially if you're doing it on hardened difficulty) but the game has been so buggy for me. I beat the first mission 3 times in a row on veteran and the achievement would never pop up for me. And I literally just went through another whole campaign mission and the bo3 "servers timed out" and I didn't get credit for it. Like bruh, this is campaign not multiplayer. Gotta do the whole mission again. I've never had any of these issues on prior cods

Platinum was quite a Grind but tbh Realistic and Vet no death is actually more easy than it seems to be, you just need a sniper and firefly swarm/active camo than its easy. No death vet is hard as well but only 2 Missions these would be Lotus bc of the Mothership and Life bc of the death Charges at the very end. All other missions just Require some knowledge

Honestly, I've just been having issues unlocking achievements because of bugs. I've completed the first bo3 mission "black ops" on hardened three times now I and I still don't have the achievement for the Mission. Even when I go to select the mission it confirms I completed it on hardened. It's the only mission that is refusing to give me the achievement even though I've beaten it several times on the correct difficulty. Might just give up on trying to beat the whole campaign on hardened if I can't get the achievement for the first mission
