Fun fact: (not sure if this is patched but) “kills without dying” seems to carry over MATCH TO MATCH. There was a number of times where I got 2 kills towards the end of one match, didn’t die, and the game ended. Then loaded up the next match, got 1 kill and got diamond!

My biggest tip is while you’re working on your first few weapon classes, have a launcher as your secondary and passively go for flyswatters, that way you won’t be stuck suffering on launchers at the end of your grind. Also, have a few classes ready with guns you’re working on (one sniper, one shotty, one machine gun) and choose your gun based on the lobby you are in. No sense watching down a lane on nuketown with a sniper if there is no one to kill on the other side.

The new sirin smg is considered a special weapon and it is in the same category as launchers in the camo unlocks so you can use it to replace the he-1 and use the krig/saug to skip melee weapons

Picked up the game after multiple weeks to try some new maps to see if that would help my experience. 10v10 mosh pit was actually pretty fun for like 5 games where there seemed to be a normal balance of skill level. I have grinded Dark Matter since BO4 and I started playing with BO1. This year I have decided to utilise the DLC weapons as I don’t have the time or it in me to suffer through it with weapons and classes that just ruin the experience. SBMM is too insane and the sliding and jumpshotting is just out of control compared to the COD I know. I don’t mind the game though just wish every lobby didn’t feel the same. I remember when we had so much variety in lobbies and it made it fun not to use meta stuff on noobs to even it out a bit. Basically by season 3 I might have Dark Matter but I will have my sanity 😂😂

I don’t know which launcher is worse. The HE-1 here in Black Ops 6 or the RPG back in Cold War for destroying score streaks. I haven’t fully started the launchers yet and I could easily skip them but my crazy ass wants to do them, because if I can platinum the mainline Arkham trilogy of Asylum, City, and Knight with some of the most bs achievements known to man and have completed Dark Matter in Cold War, Orion in MWII, and Interstellar in MWIII. I think I can do these launchers no problem doesn’t mean I won’t be frustrated but I’m determined.

The grind is not bad on paper but the fact the SBMM makes it so much extra is what makes it a pain in the ass. Like it got so bad that the game matched me up against the same people with crappy ping multiple games so having consistent packet burst/loss makes it way more irritating than it has to be. Like you are telling me that the only other people that you can find to my “skill” is some randoms in Europe, Asia, and the moon? Not in the US? I consider myself above average(Diamond/Platinum) but it feels like a chore at times with how bad the games hit detection and network is.

I love watching everyone enjoy BO6 meanwhile I haven’t been able to play in almost 3 weeks, due to the game freezing and crashing every time I start up Multiplayer or Zombies. I’ve done every single forum suggestion. I’ve also been back and forth with Activision support and no fix at all. I’ve seen people on Reddit with the same issue, it suck so much. Especially considering I pre ordered the Vault Edition and have actually enjoyed this cod. The first one I’ve enjoyed for years. I was on my Dark Matter grind and now I don’t even think I’ll be able to play the game ever again, and may just have to get a refund😔

Having to get 100 Headshots for every Weapon when the Enemies are flowing around the ground like Water is too much. They should at least let you just get like 200 (regular) Kills for every Weapon to unlock all Military Camos it would make way more sense and then for the other 2 camos before Gold something like 5-10 Headshots in one match that would be much cooler and a little bit more fun. We all want Dark Matter but i know for most people its feels out of reach. Just the Thought to do 100 Headshots is Jarring. getting headshots on kbm is a lot harder without aim assist. I don't play on controller but plugged one in and i was getting x2 to x3 as many headshots vs me on kbm. so if your grinding headshots plug in a controller.

@teepee2531 I literally never play FPS on controller and with very little experience ( a few games) I'm going positive and hitting most my shots bc of AA. It not only magnetizes to your enemies, but it also reduces recoil and visual recoil/smoke since it'll lock on to enemies you'd have a hard time seeing on KBM. So all you have to do is spam L2 then aim slightly up and easy headshots. Whereas on MKB you have to track people sliding, drop shotting, etc and somehow manage to hit their heads in the process.

No AR should be a 4 shot headshot. This game encourages you to aim low because everyone is sliding round, and there’s no reward for headshots. 2 body shots and 1 headshot should always kill with any AR and some SMGs

@valexcx so I'll start with what you need. 2 consoles or platforms to play black ops 6 as well as gamepass or two copies of black ops 6. Gamepass is much easier and cheap. So you make a brand new account for Activision and the respective platform. You then take that account and do not kill anybody. Shoot into the air, crouch walk everywhere, do not sprint and just die over and over again. Repeat for around 10 matches. After that, you are set to go. You then log onto your main account, friend the alt account you made. Look for a game with your alt account and once it finds a match you join the alt account on your main account. It does not work every single time. You will get out into full lobbies and need to backout and try to find another match, but it's genuinely pretty easy and works at least 1 out of 3 games.
