the COD HQ really sucks if you're trying to play anything other than the current game, they try to make it seem like its a seamless experience but in reality each game is still its own application, because it loads into BO6 automatically, even if you don't own the game, and if you choose another game it has to launch that other game's EXE when you select it in the UI, it takes way too long.

My biggest complaint is the special camos. Why on earth do we have to do all the headshot challenges before we can use a supposedly universal camo? In that case all the military camos are universal too, you just have to complete their challenge UPDATE: it has now been confirmed that the $400 wunderwaffe bonus camo still has this prerequisite. That means you can spend $400 for the camo and still won't be able to use it unless you've done all the headshot challenges

Both connection and spawns are still big issues that need to be improved. Still getting packet loss and having enemies spawns right behind you or spawning in front of an enemy pretty often.

Biggest thing I’m loving is the UI. It’s so much cleaner now, so much easier to navigate, and the showcase is easy to get to as well. Also I like how there isn’t a million weapon attachments like previous years.

Despite the horrendous lag and packet bursts, despite the terrible launch maps in multiplayer, despite the weird dev errors... The game has a lot of content on launch. Good content. Loads of challenges in multiplayer and zombies just waiting to be grinded and unlocked. And the campaign is interesting and engaging. I'm honestly very happy with the game and Treyarch has a good starting place to improve upon the game.

I hope that they make it easier to read descriptions on perks camos etc I noticed while looking at the camo challenges you barely can make out what the requirement challenge for diamond camo is because the texture blends in with the diamond camo

What I really don't like is that you can't equip the universal camos unless you completed at least one set of the military camos (MP or zombies). I never get to use any, because by the time I can, I'm close enough to gold enough that I barely experience them. And when I eventually play MP, zombie grind is more important to me, I'll have the mastery camos. Why use universals when you have mastery's?

People somehow defending SBMM (or EOMM, whatever) is crazy to me. Why do you pretend like CoD is a competitive game? It's a casual, laid-back arcade shooter. Or it's supposed to be. SBMM belongs in the ranked mode, and there only. If I want a ranked FPS experience I'll play games like CS, R6, Valorant or Overwatch. In all of these games I'm in the top 1%-10% of players. I play CoD because I grew up on it and because I want to play it casually. The game just punishes players for being good by forcing them into harder lobbies. That's not a "skill issue", it's tiring and it makes the game feel like a chore with absolutely ZERO reward because it's not a ranked environment. But yeah, I vote with my wallet, which is why I haven't touched CoD since MWII. It sucks, but it's just not worth my time anymore. Especially with the likes of XDefiant providing a much more pleasant casual experience alongside when I want to take a break from the competitive games I mentioned earlier.

It’s been a very fun game so far. Some maps need some re-work (REDCARD!!!) I’ve noticed that spawns seem repetitive but that’s not a game breaker for me. The weapon grind is very fun and feels natural. Looking forward to the tweaks Treyarch makes and new content they add in the future. Took a small break from COD and glad to play this game again and actually enjoy it Edit: still trying to get ‘play of the game’ with a hostage in my arms lol

There's literally a perk (or wildcard) that allows you to see through walls and see enemies at the beginning of the match lol. Funny someone would blame you for using a spotter scope that spots enemies 😂

Honestly really enjoying this game. I loved MWIII as well, but this game just feels cleaner. You can tell Treyarch put some love into this one. I’ve also noticed that the Omni movement isn’t as integral to gameplay as I thought it would be. Like I use it, and I love it. But if you wanted to play more casually and just running around like every other COD. That still works just as good 😊

personally I want it to get more crazy with the movement next year. I miss the advanced movement, like it or not, it did add more skill expression to the game. Yes it could be annoying, and I think three advanced movement games in a row is too much but I think both IW and AW are both super under rated and would be a lot better liked if they came out today.

Bo6 is honestly fire, the camo challenges, zombies, and reticles and much more… so much more to do in this game then mw3. the camo grind on MP could be adjusted a little such as snipers and rocket launchers but other than that it’s really good at launch !

I haven't sat down to play a COD on release since Cold War. Partly due to life and other things keeping me busy, but also due to lack of interest. I have GamePass so I downloaded and gave it a shot over the weekend and really enjoyed playing with a good friend. I feel like the UI/UX on PC is much better this time around than previous (might just be a me thing). I will disagree on TTK though - I feel like it is much slower than my last go around with COD. However, I am used to playing games like CS2/Val where many interactions can be stupidly fast/short. I'm excited to finish the campaign tonight and keep playing some MP with my buddies.

I do experience theses issues a lot. One thing that I've noticed is lower level player have more health and are harder to kill. Definitely takes more bullets. My gin also locks away from my target very often. I average a .90 kd at level 43. Matches are very sweaty. Each once in a while I will have a easy game 60 kills easy. Maps are not good.

The stat menu on the right side when loading into a game appearing during loading in a game that’s mid match and causing an extra death because you can’t do anything within 5-8 seconds yet your op spawns in. The only bug I’ve ran into so far

The only time kills feel fast to me in core is when I’m up close with an smg or using something high caliber like a sniper, other than that ttk is significantly faster on hardcore especially anything past midrange, as it should be so idk what you’re on about. Headshots also feel extremely weak without the boasting barrel on core, the amount of headshot hit markers I get resulting in no kill is actually insane

Interestingly no one points out the fact that its the first time Treyarch is working with another studio’s game engine in the Black Ops saga. It doesn’t seem like Treyarch game (I didn’t buy it); slow and unresponsive is the Modern Warfare engine, but still no one seems to care. Do the players like MW’s engine that much? For me, a Black Ops game is only a Black Ops game if they realise their vision with their own tools.

Thank god someone at treyarch thought face off was a good idea and that somone designed those maps because honestly I HATE all the normal maps apart from like 2. I religiously play search and destroy not really sure how I’m gonna cope after the camo grind is over. @@Joe_9418 unfortunately no. Think of it like this: prior to bo6, you could use skins from mw2 to mw3 because they had the carry forward. Once bo6 came out, basically you won’t be able to use any skins from mw2 or mw3 in bo6 because they didn’t add the carry forward in the game, therefore bo6 is basically a clean slate. Only skin specifically made for bo6 will be in bo6 and warzone ofcourse because warzone is suppose to be that mode that ties everything together.
