this is not reduce Packet Burst, it reduce stutters from your cpu , but not Packet Burst. Packet Burst - is a networks\server issue.

Nope, now you're incorrect buddy. Start the game, find the settings in Interface called "Network in-game alert Icon", read the description of what COD themselves say about packet burst. Well ill save you the hazzle, "3. Packet Burst: Connection issues caused by network congestions or a CPU bottleneck, Check your internet connection and try to lower your graphic settings". Now, let me phrase the small blueprint here. "CPU bottleneck", this means that it might be poorly optimized or your CPU is causing bottlenecks. In this video for example, he is showing how it's poorly optimized, using more cores than needed, which might cause bottlenecking in your computer since suddenly all cores have to handle game. This might also cause issues since it's using cores which are handling background applications etc etc etc. If you lower the amount of cores the game can use, then it might fix the issues. (as long as its at least 4 cores for the game, think that's the minimum requirement idk) That said, cod has shit 20 tickrate servers, so it's a lot on their end. Secondly as in Bo6 Beta, they have issues with their UI due to memory leak. Which causes lag/packet burst or even extrapolation/fps drops. You can try this by spamming tab(scoreboard) and the game will start to freeze and lag.

@@Arcadiez "CPU bottleneck" - its like Christmas presents brings Santa?* *spamming tab(scoreboard) didn't give me a packet burst. Also don't have CPU bottleneck(80-90% usage), but still encountering Packet Burst when playing normally. Especially when SBMM kicks in and sends you over 3+ timezones with 2nd-4 of best possible pings.

fyi. when you got an intel cpu with e-cores (13000 series and above) only type in the pysical cores you got. i5 13600k is 6 instead of 10, because of 4 e-cores. you have to do this on the full release and warzone aswell.

This may help with the stutters but the packet bursed is based of server side, 0% chance we can fix this locally.

@@Arcadiez this is when I can tell u don't even know what ur spewing. The way ur explaining CPU bottlenecks makes u have no idea about hardware. A CPU bottleneck has no relation to core and thread count lol. And adding more dedicated cores to a certain task doesn't make it faster either lol. It's definitely the networking infrastructure of the software. Please stop 😂

try manually deleting the shaders in the shadercache folder. Helped me quite a bit. BattleNetLibrary > Call of Duty > _retail_ > cod23 > shadercache. Delete everything in there. When you load up the game again, itll redownload the shaders.
