Black Ops 6, Nintendo Online Playtest

The Switch 2 is very intriguing for me. I know I'm waiting for an upgrade just to play current Switch games lile Tears of the Kingdom, and there might be a decent amount of people like me. But with the holidays coming there will be a lot of current Switch sales and I'm not sure how many parents will be willing to buy another Switch the following year. So over time the Switch 2 will obviously sell very well but i think its possible launch sales are fairly tepid.

That could be, but I also think there will be enough enthusiasts who will be there day one, or within the launch window. Parents who waited this long to get their kid a switch probably wouldn't be buying the next system right away anyway. But I do have to wonder how many people will see just a more powerful version of what they already have and be willing to wait longer than they might have otherwise. I guess it's on Nintendo to make games that will sell the system. And I think they will do that, unlike both Microsoft and Sony who spent this whole generation keeping new games on old hardware, which gave gamers an excuse to avoid upgrading. I don't see Nintendo doing that.

@@starsidecafe7346 yeah it could end up being like a PS5 Pro situation in a lot of normies eyes. And don't get me wrong I think it'll sell like crazy, just maybe not like the Switch or Wii at least at the start. But I definitely want one and I need them to announce it soon!
