for me, the vault edition upgrade is always worth it if (and only if) you buy at least 1 bundle per life cycle. the price of a 2400CP bundle and battle pass typically adds up to the price of a vault edition so you could see the vault edition exclusive stuff as "freebies'.

For anybody watching this late, the blackcell weapons currently do not have a kill effect aside from the Goblin and according to Activision they all should have kill fx so hopefully they will fix it soon

Also something that wasn’t mentioned is that if you buy the blackcell pass, you also get most of the things included in the vault edition already just for $30, such as the Brutus, Klaus, and Woods operators skins and the 5 weapon blueprints in the vault edition

Wait so I could be wrong but it looks like not every blackcell blueprint comes with tracers/death effects. Some just don’t even have tracers it seems. This would just be the icing on the cake, 13 blackcell items instead of the usual 15, 200 less cod points from the standard 2500, not even enough for the usual 2400 bundles. And not every skin has a variant now, what happened man 😔

The magma tracer's muzzle flash is too obstructive. You can't see what you're shooting at (at range at least). That's what I've noticed using the GPMG at least.

Not all the blackcell weapon variants have the kill effects like in the past, only two blackcell weapons from what I’m seeing have the lava kill effect and the others don’t which is actually sh*t, they have the animation on the weapon and the tracers but that’s it 👎

I think activation is putting toomuch nonsense in the blackcell these days, is way toomany calling cards charms and foolishness we don't need. pluss half of the weapons here dont have balckcell versions, and i dont know why they make the blackcell operators always have some kind of glowing effect. That shit needs to stop. We ain't trying to be visible from across the map. I feel like nowadays the regular battlepass is much better than blackcell. The last blackcell for mw2 was the only one i think that was really worth it!! And maybe the first blackcell ever.
